He has Kamala Harris who has not been a good VP, with a high chance she will end up POTUS, something that is normally not a big risk with a VP. And then who knows what terrible candidate Trump will pick as his VP.

How has she not been a good VP? What has she done, or not done, that any other VP in recent history has done, or not done. What makes her a worse VP than Mike Pence, Dan Quayle, Al Gore or Joe Biden?

Please be specific.

Ugg. I hate the “please be specific” thing. Anyway, she was made border czar by Biden and the border is more open than ever in history so if she was trying to fix it, she has failed. If she was trying to open it up, she succeeded but no one likes it being wide open. Also, the cackle. And the nervous laugh at inappropriate times. Is that specific enough for you?

No, it isn’t, and has been patiently pointed out to you and your three fellow conservatives on this site, the increased numbers are due in part to Russia’s interference on behalf of the GOP.

Amazing. So now the open border created by Biden is the fault of BOTH Russia and the GOP! Awesome. Can you work in some aliens and maybe Hitler. Add in a few more absurd statements. It’s like I’m watching ancient aliens with that guy with the crazy hair.

Russia creates the conditions that people want to flee their countries - they have done this in South and Central American, with Syria, Ukraine etc. The border crisis is totally manufactured. Then, they align with right wingers in the respective countries, in this case, the GOP, to vilify "the other" and create the hysteria and hate that we see in threads like this, with help from Fox News and social media. It has all been well documented.

Sorry that you have fallen victim to it.

I mean this is some wacko stuff your are asserting. Maybe some of your liberal and lefty friends can help you out of this weird world you are in because let me tell you, what you are saying is some crazy fringe stuff. Occam’s razor my friend. It could be your theory or it could be that Biden literally reversed over 90 Trump era EOs controlling the border and literally said we welcome everyone. Occam’s razor says Biden is probably the cause. Just a hunch.

I see China bolstering their Navy to be like no other in world and then I hear my fellow Americans arguing about which of their awful, elderly presidential candidates is the lesser of two evils and I wonder how soon it will be before our carelessness leads us a world we didn't think was possible.

And yet Biden is focused on DEI in the military. Not building ships. Hmm. I wonder what we could do? Maybe elect Trump.

Wrong. This is purely the kind of bullshit you only hear on places like FOX News. DEI is an absolutely microscopic portion of what DoD is focused on. And, production of weaponry has actually increased. Maybe you are unaware of that little thing going on in Ukraine right now? Or that military alliance called NATO that Trump tried walking away from?

How is 2024 worse than 2020? You're really asking this question? First of all, January 6th hadn't happened prior to the 2020 election. We new Trump was awful during the 2020 election but we didn't know he was capable of completely ignoring his role as Commander-in-Chief. Secondly, Biden had had a few years off prior to the 2020 election and seemed fresh minded for a 77 year old. He currently seems feeble minded and just feeble in general. That's the perception of the majority of the American people and the people's perception is what makes a candidate effectively weak or strong. Never before have we had the absolute worst candidate ever going up against one of the top 3 most weakest/most unpopular candidates in our history. There is no other election that comes close to this one as far as being in the worst of the worst category. We are guaranteed a president that should not, by any measure, be president for FOUR more years after January 2025. Let's just hope it isn't Trump.

Seth nails in. 90 seconds everyone should watch. I just shake my head at what the GOP has become.

Thank you. People have short memories. He’s an oaf and a grifter in every possible way and a menace to humanity and America.

Who? Who has the short memories? Name one person that actually thinks Trump should be president again other than Trump? Crickets

Uh, you can see hundreds of them posting in this forum and millions across the country supplicating to him every day.

And we just had a primary where republicans could have chosen a sane, traditional conservative who respects the rule of law and she lost. Bigly. So sadly there are millions of idiots who think he should be president.

Biden and Trump are the same people they always were. So the choices ARE the same, as bad as they always were. You're just less naive about them now.

If Trump wins, do you think he will voluntarily walk away from the presidency after his 2nd term ends in January 2029?

If he doesn't, we can watch him get ejected from The White House by the new prez. That would be entertaining.

They are planning to gut the civil servants we depend on to do that.
They will install loyalists and cronies and this is planned on day 1.
There won’t be anyone there to enforce rule of law.

I don't think you get it.

There won't be an opposition party. There won't be contrary judges. There won't be a non-compliant military or police force. There won't be a mechanism to "get ejected" from the White House. That isn't how authoritarians roll.

I’m guessing both Trump and Biden will be dead by January 2029. They might even be gone years before that date. It’s clear we need to consider what comes next!
