But she seemed very lucid. She also performed the song (not just going through the motions ). I liked the perspective of those lyrics coming from an elder. It was well done.

Just can’t get into Miley Cyrus.

Loved Olivia Rodrigo’s Vampire and SZA’s Kill Bill. One thing about Gen X (my generation) is I don’t remember women expressing such rage through their music. I think it wasn’t as acceptable then as it is now. That’s a good thing- makes for powerful music.

Wut? Alanis Morisette, Courtney Love, Liz Phair, Sinead O'Connor, The Breeders. Gen X women invented it.

And Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts was so obviously influenced by Gen X music.

It wasn't conventional, but classless? She thanked her fans and then used her time to give something to her fans.

There's a certain group of Taylor haters who will call anything she does classless.

Plus the Grammy's social media was teasing a big announcement from her tonight. It's not like she stole their thunder.

Not in good health or old or both?

Annie Lennox sang the HELL out of that song!

Travis Scott should never be able to set foot on the Grammy stage. Outrageous. He should have been banished to the back burner for life.

The lyric

Well something's lost, but something's gained

Hit different, in a great way

Yes, Taylors acceptance speech was definitely classless. Didn’t bother to even acknowledge the other entries and had to add that this was her 13th award, before plugging her new album, what drivel

I didn’t like the speech at all. Overly promotional. And the call to action to check social media saying, “I’m going in the back and will post the album cover on Instagram” takes attention away from show performers.

Plus, we know she is not the one posting on social media. So don’t lie.

I like Taylor’s music. But the speech was bad. No one will tell her the truth though.

The vibe I got was - hey, this is my 13th grammy (unlike Miley who was super excited about her first) and it's old hat so I'm just going to promote my new album. I'm not a hater at all, but she seemed more interested in the promotion opportunity than the fact that she won a grammy.

I thought is was classless because Miley had just been onstage excited to win her first Grammy and the first thing TS said was that it was her 13th.

Until 2022 she hadn’t performed in years after as she clawed her way back after a brain aneurysm. She did a large concert in Oregon last summer and will be performing in LA this summer.

Can she sing like she did at 25? Of course not, but she is a poet and musical genius. And I’m glad she’s still getting recognition for her work.

That performance was like what I imagine hell would be like.

Predictable how dumbfounded she looked with her mouth wide open in shock when they announced her name. She is very talented in many ways, but her childlike reactions are getting old.
