St. Barta and my inhibitions.

All this. So much this. The only part of this story that’s weird is the husband encouraging and making her feel like a prude for not showing her tits to his friends. Definite swapper vibes.

Oh tell me about that husband gang rape trial going on in Europe right now….so free!

I'd never, and DH would have no say in that decision.

Oh stop it. I'm not repressed at all but don't feel like being pressured to get naked around my friends and their husbands.

But this is the point pp and you're literally emphasizing it's accuracy with this comment.

Don't be so prude op. Being naked is great. No one is looking at you anyway. Just let yourself go a bit.

When I clicked on this thread I definitely thought it would be about swinging or drugs. This is so tame. 😂😂

You post a pic or this is just another meaningless DCUM boast.

What does that even mean?

Recently had a discussion/debate about this with some friends, although it was about complete nudity not female toplessness.

One of them (a European) was of this mindset - mixed-gender complete nudity (in designated public places) is perfectly fine, so natural, and is the way all humans should be! Anyone who doesn't agree is simply judgmental and repressed. Going to the local pool and swimming around naked with your friends, neighbors, siblings, coworkers, etc. is perfectly acceptable. Including children is often acceptable, too.

Nope. Not gonna agree. Human beings have a LONG history of covering their genitals, with something. And separating by gender goes back to ancient times. IMO this all-gender complete nudity is a recent "fad" in human history driven by aggressive voyeuristic people who pressured others using the old "it's completely natural" trope. Goes without saying most of those who are the first to doff their duds are fat old men.

Recently visited St Barts, and spent most of our time on Saline and Gouveneur beachs. More men than women were fully nude, particularly at the far ends of both beaches. It was pretty discrete. About a third of the women were topless throughout the beaches. The beaches are gorgeous and uncrowded, and the water was clean and warm. DH and I had a wonderful time.

We’ve been to a few nude or topless beaches with friends and I have no problem going topless. Nude? No. 90% of people should keep their clothes on. DH and I have gone to a nude beach a couple of times and that does feel pretty liberating. Frolicking in the water is a ton of fun. Those trips ended when we had kids.

What you and many others don’t understand is that being nude at the beach is not about being sexually enticing to others. No one there gives two shits what you think.

No one will care if you wear a top. I would feel weird in front of friends husbands if I were topless. I wouldn't care if friends were topless around DH (he wouldn't care/he's seen boobs before).

I have a very large chest. I just would never go topless in public unless I was laying on my front. There is just too much to see. If you are smaller chested- good for you- do it it only if you feel like. I also worry about someone somewhere taking photos- sure I may never know about it but it's creepy to think I could show up on some creep's phone.
