This is not a known topless destination. Sure there are a few spots mentioned upthread, but SB is not known for this. Someone is driving this “let’s be topless/go to topless beach” convo in advance of the trip. My guess is the DH of one of the other wives (or one of the DWs who’s a cool girl/pick-me). Now OP is feeling pressured.

Like many on this thread I work hard on my body and am very happy with how I look, as is DH. But I’d take a *hard pass* on chilling on a beach in my bikini bottoms and nothing else in front of Chad & Brad. Throw in one of their wives (or my own DH) suggesting I have a drink to make it all easier? I’d reconsider going altogether. Adults pressuring other adults to “relax and just do it, Linda” is creepy af.

I’ve been many times, there’s no need to take your top off, grow up and get out more. Your husband is an idiot. Also, having a mimosa in the morning sans kids on a beach is a reason many people go on vacation, who cares if it’s not for you? Don’t do it. Problem solved.

I was just in St Barts. Although being topless is allowed by law, I didn't see it that often. St Barts is a bit stiff of a place and not as relaxed as other island, IMO. So I don't think topless is necessarily expected or all that common.

I've been topless on a beach a bunch of times but only once with a couple we were traveling with. They were very close friends and while I was initially not sure about it I quickly got over it. My GF and I were both a few months pregnant so our girls were at their best. I certainly would not do it traveling with a group of not so close friends. My husband has always left it up to me as to going topless or not. If the beach has plenty of topless women I don't feel uncomfortable.

Recently went to St. Barts. A few people sans bathing suits on Saline Beach, but for the most part pretty discrete. If that’s what you enjoy, go to the left side of Saline Beach and the right side of Gouverneur Beach. Not a big deal.

We go there annually. People are pretty discrete at Saline Beach, even those who are fully nude. Gorgeous beach. Salines Garden is a small boutique hotel nearby, and Le Tamarin, one of the best restaurants on the island, is nearby as well.

I've been topless plenty of times and it is no big deal. Topless beaches are not loaded with starlet bodies so there is really not much to look at. Our beach vacations are now with our four kids in ES and MS so my topless days are over even though I've held up quite well according to my husband. I will wear a nice mom-bikini but that's about it.
