To people frustrated with Biden who say they won’t vote in 2024

100%. I live in Virginia. I'm voting Marianne Williamson. What is the difference between Biden and Trump/GOP? I don't see a sliver of difference.
I am also too upset to get out to vote next week. I have plans to be out of town and will not vote before I go.

This person is a Republican.

If you find someone in a swing state who looks at what Trump wrought - women with no bodily autonomy, a worldwide pandemic, god only knows what happened to all the information in the top secret documents he stole, him blackmailing Ukraine, him leading a coup - and says, “Biden is worse, I’m voting for x who has 0.0% chance of winning, meaning we’re tipped into a christofascist nightmare,” they are a Republican.

Nader, Nader, Sanders/Stein. With the GOP in charge - and Trump will not last long, the man’s brain is stewed cheese in hot car on a summer day - it will be Project 2025. It will be the end of the American Experiment.

And ask yourself: what will the GOP offer regular Americans? What have they shown they’re going to prioritize?

It’s absolutely worth it. I was just talking with some friends today about how much better life was 5 or so years ago under Trump. Will we vote for him? No way. But none of us plan to vote for Biden again. One friend even used the term “suicidal” to describe another vote for Biden.

Oh and we’re all in NOVA so yea it matters.

Are you forgetting the pandemic? Good lord.

I remember a GLOBAL pandemic that was started in China. How exactly was Trump responsible for that?

I remember he was called "xenophobic" for wanting to shut down travel from affected nations early on.

Which was after he closed the early warning offices we’d established in China. It wasn’t the fact that he wanted to shut down travel, it’s that he backed it up with xenophobia and commit more stochastic terrorism against Asian Americans. Remember old Asian (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese - they were all fair game) women getting cold decked in the streets? That happened.

Trump was a bastion of leadership during the pandemic. He had great ideas like sticking a flashlight up your *ss to cure Covid should be looked into.

His weakness invited Xi to attack us with his lab made china virus.

Those I know, frustrated with the lack of good candidates, are still voting Biden.
They aren’t happy but they’re not crazy.

Jesus Christ, get over yourselves. You people who are pissed at Biden are uninformed and illogical.

Versus Fauci's scrubbing groceries and everyone gets a ventilator (which of course turned out to exacerbate the disease)?
No masks? Oh wait, cotton masks!
If you get the vaccine we can wipe out Covid Biden?

Who were the people decking Asians in streets. Be specific.

Blame the “mainstream” media in part. They’ve spent the last three years dirgeing about how Biden is the worst and how everything is the fault of the Democrats. People don’t know enough to think critically.

I am in VA so I don't know how much my vote will matter BUT between disaster at the border and support of Israel with complete f*** you to American foreign policy, I am done and cannot vote for Biden in good conscience. Frankly, Trump can't be any worse than this. In 2024, the slogan that Trump is bad is not going to be enough for democrats. I never thought I would feel this way but here we are.

Signed - A lifelong democrat.

Then you have forgotten everything about Trump’s first term.

And remember he is currently being charged with multiple state and federal felony charges, including racketeering.

This country truly has the memory of a fruit fly.

Nah, these folks have Oppositional Defiance Disorder. They want to be independent and edgy.

If you disagree with how Biden has handled the Israel crisis, then you'd probably really hate how Trump would've given Bibi carte blanche for a legit genocide and full annexation of Gaza.

We don't really know this, it's an assumption. What we are seeing is reality.

Yes, we do. We also know that Russia-iran-Hamas are in cahoots. Trump was and is in cahoots with Russia. that puts a Trump US in the same axis against, NATO and the EU. Is that what you want?

(also, yes Netanyu was funding Hamas too)

I’m guessing you think there’s an evil man hiding under your bed.

Everyone gets a ventilator? The ones Trump stole from blue states for people who could no longer breathe? Remember when he and Jared were openly trying to kill more Democrats in blue states? Because they thought it would win them the election if they killed off enough Democratic voters.

I love how none of you who are so sure of Trump’s unique evil never point to Biden+other Dems as being substantially authors of our current situation. You just want to beat up on disappointed voters and protect problematic politicos. It’s grim af.

You will ignore this, PP, because you refuse to acknowledge facts.

For anyone who does not remember this, because the Trump Administration managed to massage it (and probably bury it in an avalanche of something stupid, like Trump getting covid and trying to infect his Secret Service detail), Trump and the GOP worked with Russia. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/18/us/politics/senate-intelligence-russian-interference-report.html#:~:text=WASHINGTON%20—%20A%20sprawling%20report%20released,including%20at%20least%20one%20intelligence

The prosecutions of trump have jumped the shark. Any notion that it was a legit prosecution not based on politics and trying to get him off the ballot is gone. Even the ACLU is arguing on his behalf that this is going too far. Very banana republic to use the judicial branch to silence your political opponent. The gag order is bananas. The NY judge mugging happily for the cameras is too much. He was giggling. So undignified and unserious. So no, the fact that he is facing multiple criminal charges doesn’t matter to me AT ALL because they are entirely politically motivated.

Is your position then that no person running for president can be indicted and prosecuted? Or sued in a civil case?

In other words, does running for president grant you broad immunity from the justice system?

Nope. Not my position. But vague gag orders are unconstitutional on anyone. And timing his trial dates to align with primaries. Deeply political. And frankly charging him for classified documents issued when we know Biden and Pence both had documents and probably also Obama. And prosecutions in NY where charges are brought that have never been brought before. Political. So I don’t think he should get off or be able to avoid accountability but the targeted selective prosecutions of him is rather stunning if you’re paying attention.

^ this person is a RWNJ. Stop engaging.

The quality of your response is basically typical vapid lefty talking points. You are a clueless rube. Go ahead and call me maga too! And toss in a few more amazing insults. But do not under any circumstances discuss facts because you don’t know any. Insult and deflect is your only game. Well I am rubber and you are glue…

I can’t help you. No one can help you, and frankly you aren’t worth helping. You think that a couple of documents of (unknown importance) found with Biden and Pence are the same as what was found at Mar a Lago. There is a wealth of information out there regarding the amount and the importance of the info found at Mar a Lago. There is plenty of reporting about how many times he has shared national security secrets with others, including foreign adversaries and members of his country club. You are choosing to be ignorant. Make a better choice, I can’t do it for you.

Grim af is people like you who managed to sit through the Trump years and have sat through several more years of GOP antics of blocking, stopping, defending and stonewalling and you have the gall to say it’s the Dems’ fault.

You probably blame the Democrats for the absolutely poop show in the GOP house, too.
