| Riverside was always considered one of the better public school teams. It sure why STA or STAB should strike fear in any schedule they are not the top private school teams. |

I applaud Riverside for testing themselves against better teams. Win or lose these games will not impact them in their district standings and will only better prepare them for regionals and states.
I’m not real close to that program but have heard it’s a young team. Throwing them into the fire early will probably pay long term dividends. Again, hats off to them for the tougher schedule. |

| The current iteration of Riverside is still good but nowhere near the last few years. With Ward (Jax commit) winning a vast majority at X they will still have the posession advantage. They should go 2-4 or 3-3 to start the season (Tusky is a W, Freedom and STAB could also be). Briar will be a stiff test in District finally. |

Not sure I agree with the Madison coach being better then Riverside.... Riverside coach has a pretty good resume in his own right. |

Battlefield, Madison and Freedom all lost their Fogos to graduation. Riverside will control X from there- games will be closer then you might think.
Didn’t RVHS beat Freedom last year? St. A and Atlee are the only definite losses. |

RVHS did not play Freedom last year. They beat Douglas FREEMAN in the State Final... As a fan, I am really looking forward to some of these match ups. Great for Northern VA lacrosse! |
