"quite?" I think because VEL and Fall Brawl are treated differently for different teams and not a real predictor of Spring performance.

Agree. VEL games often don't have football players who play both sports, and Fall Brawl is just a run-and-gun on a small field. Turkey Shootout is probably the one that might offer the best crystal ball for the spring.

Riverside, Champe, BW, are they even doing VEL?

Riverside Varsity is not in the VEL. They do have a JV team though, who looks very solid. Riverside played like 5-6 freshmen on varsity last year, with a lot of playing time... they return almost everyone but #2 at attack (@ Jacksonville). The entire roster essentially returns.

She ran Cavs girls program which was acquired by Pride so worked for Pride before getting fired.

Drever was hired by Independence in 2002 and receives a coaching stipend rather than a salary, according to an email from Loudoun County Public Schools spokesman Daniel L. Adams.
