A friend working the polls said turnout was so high they ran out of ballots and had to direct everyone to the electronic machines.

So it looks like the GOP is becoming unpopular.

The voters in Milwaukee and Dane counties (where Madison is) came through big time!

As a Wisconsin resident I cannot be happier. Even in my red suburb the mayor of 9 years was ousted and replaced with someone more liberal. The liberal school board member was elected. Milwaukee County also voted that the statute that bans abortion be repealed. Was a good end to the day!

proves the GOP is NOT listening to young voters.

It's just amazing these knuckle dragging Republicans think they can keep going more and more extreme and unhinged, without consequences.

The “red wave” of 2022 already proved that, bigly.

God what a loser.

Of course, I'd probably be bitter if I lost two races in three years, each by 10+ points

Time to be a killjoy. Republicans look to have won the State Senate seat and now have a supermajority there. They've been actively talking about impeaching judges to prevent any change to their gerrymander or abortion ban. SCOTUS is also still around and poised to destroy democracy with Moore v Harper.

It was a great night but the fight is not over.

Who said (or even implied) the fight is over?

Me again.

THIS is part of why yesterday was a big deal, even though it’s not a done deal.
