Right? How could you even tell in a cooked omelet if there was some egg white. I can't imagine wanting this or getting upset if it wasn't correct. The only thing I can come up with is she is allergic to egg whites but it would be A. super risky to order this in a restaurant and B. that would have been reported in the press about it.

Maybe they have a kink where she orders some bizarre, impossible-to-implement dish, and then he berates the waitstaff like an overtired, obese toddler.

Then I enjoy some of the carpool karaokes like with Paul McCartney and BTS. But then later I find out they drove BTS is that car for hours with no AC. That sounds brutal. And James doesn’t really drive the car, it’s pulled along so he doesn’t have to focus completely on driving. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was a total jacka$$.

In the majority of Carpool Karaoke's he drives. It's only in half a dozen of them when it was unsafe, that he didn't. I didn't know about the air conditioning for BTS - I wonder why they did that.

I assume the sound of the A/C interferes with the sound recording.

It depends on how the egg is cooked. She may be on a special diet.

Am I the only one who thinks this entire thing is fake? As PP said, the omelette thing even sounds fake and ludicrous. Then the owner immediately backtracked.

Well that settles it then. 25 years of top success in one of the toughest restaurant cities in the world means nothing compared to your one "non-memorable" steak frites.

It's a fine bistro and much better than more expensive places in town, and honestly the wine markups are much less than much of the competition. Not sure why it needs to be "memorable".

It looks like overpriced basic food. I'm not getting why it is so special but they should not publicly shame a guest.

James Corden is a notorious a**hole. It’s not fake, not sure what’s so hard to understand here.

The dude apologized for his behavior.

+ 1 "Don't you **dare** complain about your order or we will take to social media and try to destroy you." Sociopaths.

He’s now come out stating she’s allergic. I wish he had just apologized without any caveats. Why is it so hard to say “I didn’t act as I should have and I apologize to X for my behavior”. Full stop.

COME ON is no one going to mention the disastrous AMA he did on reddit a few years back? It's a classic and explains all you need to know about James Corden: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/bqy5zf/i_am_james_corden_alongside_ben_winston_and_five/

Someone DID mention it, on page 3: "There was a reddit AMA thread a few years ago where rather than actually asking him questions, people just posted stories of their own experiences or stories they had heard of James treating people badly (on his set and in public) and the only question was why are you an a--hole?"

Then she should eat at home.

Seriously? You can't expect a restaurant to cook EGGS properly? Any first grader can make eggs.
