I’ve been to Balthazar and it’s not that good. Wasn’t memorable.

Yeah, gay men never marry and have kids.........

With women?

Phillip Schofield a popular English TV morning host for ITV was married and has kids. He came out as gay last year. Nobody was surprised.

Right? I assumed he was a decent guy. But I learned early on & and FIRST HAND that he’s a dbag.

What happened to you first hand?

PP here. To clarify, I meant with his lack of looks, and lack of talent, you’d think he’d have to make up for it with a good personality…but nope, just a complete prick.

+1 Why aren't they publicly apologizing for the crap job they did with his order?

Why should they? They apologized to Corden. A business can choose whom they serve.

They don't need to publicly bash him. Just tell him he is not welcome and move on. Why are they desperate for their five minutes fame?

What rock did you live under that you think Balthazar needs “their five minutes of fame”?

Maybe they're hurting for business now. They can't even make an omelette correctly anymore.

Is it even possible to remove **all** of the egg white from an egg yolk omelet (which, holy crap that sounds horrible)? Who gets upset because of a *speck* of egg white?

They should have made them an all-chalazion omelet.

Based on their response to James Corden's complaint, I would never eat there. They probably spit in food too.

What moron asks for a egg-yolk omelet?

Well that settles it then. 25 years of top success in one of the toughest restaurant cities in the world means nothing compared to your one "non-memorable" steak frites.

It's a fine bistro and much better than more expensive places in town, and honestly the wine markups are much less than much of the competition. Not sure why it needs to be "memorable".

First of all I don’t think anyone goes to Balthazar for amazing food. It’s just about the atmosphere/scene. The food is a sideshow.

Secondly, who orders an egg yolk omelet? Was she trying to up her cholesterol? It shouldn’t matter if there is egg white in it, yolk in egg white might be an issue but not the other way round

Yep. He came out and people were so kind to act surprised - it just goes to show how much people like him.

I have mixed feelings about him. Some parts of his show are really funny, like when Tom Cruise took him into the sky for a Top Gun day. That was hilarious. Then I enjoy some of the carpool karaokes like with Paul McCartney and BTS. But then later I find out they drove BTS is that car for hours with no AC. That sounds brutal. And James doesn’t really drive the car, it’s pulled along so he doesn’t have to focus completely on driving. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was a total jacka$$.

He stopped being funny when he started relying heavily on that guy with curly brown hair who sits off camera -- and should stay there. He's totally boring. Why in the world did they make him a big part of the show? Anyway, James Corden is a comedian so I judge him on his comedy, not the way he acts when he gets an f'ed up order at a restaurant.
