James Corden Restaurant Drama

Most celebrities are pricks. Why is this surprising?

He has a reputation for being a prick but I think he actually likes that. He seems to think fame makes one above being nice to the little people.

There was a reddit AMA thread a few years ago where rather than actually asking him questions, people just posted stories of their own experiences or stories they had heard of James treating people badly (on his set and in public) and the only question was why are you an a--hole?

Unfortunately he's a mean girl. I went to a taping of his show and he was rather awful. I was so disappointed.

Calling a MAN a mean girl, instead of a mean man is so sexist. Like men can't be mean? Why do we as a society do this? A woman calls the cops or asks to see the manager ( even if she is right) is a Karen. As is a man. Nobody uses the term "Ken"

I am here to correct you every time!

We don't need to hear from business owners or salespeople about James. We all know he treats people terribly. There's no need for more stories about it, or the details. If it were Tom Hanks or Obama or someone, who we all figured are really nice to everyone, THEN that would be a story. But James Corden treating people badly? So what. SSDD

From what I know about Balthazar, it is not hurting for business. And this story attracted attention exactly because James Corden seems nice and was the last person you would expect to be mean and rude to people in restaurants.

I don't think it's mean and rude to expect the food you get to be what you ordered. He sent it back and it came back incorrect -- AGAIN?

NP: Of course it's okay to send something back when it's not what you ordered, but you need to do it nicely. No yelling, no insulting anyone, no demanding freebies, etc.

1. He's about 15 years older than they are.
2. Louis Tomlinson's mom worked with JC on a tv show back when Louis was a little kid, and when Louis got X-Factor and moved to London, she reached out to JC and asked him to keep an eye on him. He brought the other guys in 1D into the mix with him.

Stop spinning. He's a creep

Wait, were the wife and baby in coach for the first part of the flight?

Who cares. He had a bad moment. Is anyone perfect? Ellen had YEARS of bad feelings before she was Ellenized. James Cordan had one bad dinner? I really don't care. I don't expect anyone to be perfect. One instance is not a pattern nor does it exemplify someone's personality or character. Of all the things he has offered the world, the takeaway is one interaction over an omelette? Huge shrug.

This 100%. why do you expect any different? Their success is definitely not predicated on their kindness and gentle ways. Ha!
