We don't need to hear from business owners or salespeople about James. We all know he treats people terribly. There's no need for more stories about it, or the details. If it were Tom Hanks or Obama or someone, who we all figured are really nice to everyone, THEN that would be a story. But James Corden treating people badly? So what. SSDD

You must be from fly -over or some irrelevant southern state . Add to that your apparent penchant for conspiracies. Had you bothered to know what kind of restaurant balthazar is, you wouldn't be peddling your half baked theory about the owner needing publicity .

How about thrice-baked? Because that's how long it takes to make a meal correctly at the world famous "Balthazar" apparently.

I'll never get over the story about him and his wife on the airplane, if that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about the guy nothing will

This.

You can tell he is a jerk. He’s desperate for attention and feels entitled.

They should have offered him the meal and drinks on the house right then and there. Who expects to wait to eat while their meal is prepared not once, not twice but THREE TIMES??? Come on. He was probably hangry.

It was his wife, not his food. It doesn't matter what your mood is - as a human being who is an adult, it is your job to control your emotions. That's your job as a member of the human race.

Actually I grew up in NY and now live in San Francisco, but when I hear Balthazar, I think Getty. Not the restaurant. Regardless, everyone who has a business wants more. Wouldn't the owner love to have reservations booked through the new year or through Valentine's Day?

I’m from a flyover stage and really resent the term.

But “even I” know what a big deal Balthazar is.

I’ll have to Google the airplane story.

From what I know about Balthazar, it is not hurting for business. And this story attracted attention exactly because James Corden seems nice and was the last person you would expect to be mean and rude to people in restaurants.

I don't think it's mean and rude to expect the food you get to be what you ordered. He sent it back and it came back incorrect -- AGAIN?

NP: Of course it's okay to send something back when it's not what you ordered, but you need to do it nicely. No yelling, no insulting anyone, no demanding freebies, etc.

+1 He threw a tantrum at the server because there was a speck of egg white in his wife’s egg yolk (WTF?) omelet.

Egomaniac closeted queen projects self hate and ire onto peasants. Same as Ellen, aside from being closeted.

Totally normal for a 40 year man to be "bff" with teen boys in a boy band.

After it came back wrong AGAIN.

1. He's about 15 years older than they are.
2. Louis Tomlinson's mom worked with JC on a tv show back when Louis was a little kid, and when Louis got X-Factor and moved to London, she reached out to JC and asked him to keep an eye on him. He brought the other guys in 1D into the mix with him.

What is an egg yolk omelette (and why would anyone want it?) and how could you possibly tell there was white in it? The other way around, maybe.

I’m shocked he has a wife, I totally thought he was gay.
