Other than Goulet supporting Finley's idea for the District acquiring the Whittle School (intelsat campus) and using it for a new middle school +/or high school, their policy differences appear minimal.
SBOE plays no role in a decision like this. None.
That's the thing about Goulet, he's running on a bunch of things the SBOE plays no role in. It's like he doesn't know what the SBOE does.
And he seems to have led the Foxhall NIMBYs into believing that from the SBOE, he will save "their" park from the ravages of a public elementary school being built beside their park!
He also says “if” when describing MacArthur High School, electing to simply tell the NIMBYs what they want to hear. The principal is being selected right now. The programming is being decided. There’s a budget and renovations are underway. Yet he still says “if” it happens.
Just a sad, sorry human being that doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near the levers office.
