Oh, so he must have complete and totally recanted his beliefs that the Rothschild family controls the weather. That’s a relief. I mean for a minute there I almost thought that normal, intelligent people would vote for someone who believes that a Jewish family controls the climate. I mean imagine that. A council member getting $180,000 a year and yet still holding completely nonsensical, idiotic and insane beliefs and still being in charge of an entire ward of the city. It’s great that he recanted these anti-Semitic comments and your post has completely assuaged my concerns about his capability. |
I’d love to hear your thoughts on flat earthers, reptilian people and whether birds are real. |
Yeah, I don’t know about that, but I’m not voting for Trayon White because of anti-stupidness. Anyone who would spout those types of anti-Semitic thoughts must hold other insane views. |
The earth is round just like my butt...
|
Yes, yes! I feel the same way and will vote for Bowser. She’s the lesser evil and at least she’s a known quantity. I can’t believe no one more qualified is running against her. Please vote, everyone. |
Did a great job getting vaccines out? It was a SH*TSHOW. I drove up to Pennsylvania to get mine after waiting weeks and not being allowed to sign up since I was in Ward 3. |
I got mine easily at Safeway. |
She could have done better but she did a good job. People like you were not going to be happy unless you were first in line. It seemed like ages, but it actually only took weeks before everyone had access. I am also impressed by the fire station testing she set up, and now the covid centers. Anyway, it was the progressives that insisted that vaccines should be allocated based on factors other that eagerness to be first in line. If we left it to progressives like R White claims to be, Ward 3 would have had to wait longer. |
Yes, I agree that nothing under Bowser has been perfect. And the covid response was still pretty good. When I compared our access to vaccines, PCR tests, rapid tests to some adjoining counties, we were actually way ahead! I can be pissed now that schools were closed so long, but I admit that at the time I didn't want to send my kids. I was scared of covid! My teenager didn't want to go at all, and my elementary kid was learning online ok. Bowser is not perfect by any means, but we don't have any better candidates. |
On schools, Bowser tried to open in Nov and I give her credit for that. Then she continued to push for Feb by getting teachers vaccine access. One of the most interesting political things she did on schools was give principals a lot of individual discretion in reopening. This meant that schools could be flexible based on what the immediate community would accept. The downside to that was that some principals were too conservative; but in places where parents wanted their kids in school, it happened. Given the failure in Nov, I think this was the best way to get kids back & demonstrate it was OK and safe. |
Yes it was the best way to go about it. The November plan would have been a disaster |
This election is only the primary, so you'll likely have the chance to explore non-Democratic candidates between now and the November general election. |
I really like that Bowser didn't support the principals with things like COVID coordinators even though she promised them. More work for the principals is a good thing, right? I mean, it's not like they had other challenges to work on this year. Way to go, half-ass Bowser! |
Everyone I know got theirs in Maryland. Either Salisbury or 6 Flags. |
Yup. I like to pay close attention to who those people politically support because it provides me a good understanding of which politicians they feel are sympathetic to their views. |
