I am voting for Bowser. The city is well-run and she is pro-police. She has been tough on Racine, who has been soft on the prosecution of criminals. Racine endorses Robert White. Throughout the pandemic, Bowser has done a great job with getting vaccines out, rapid tests, PCR testing. And now with each ward having a COVID center, it's been impressive. I also like that she was tough on the WTU when they wanted to keep schools closed for a longer period of time, which we now know, and many of us knew then, is a disastrous thing to do to kids. Bowser has my vote.
Did a great job getting vaccines out? It was a SH*TSHOW. I drove up to Pennsylvania to get mine after waiting weeks and not being allowed to sign up since I was in Ward 3.
She could have done better but she did a good job. People like you were not going to be happy unless you were first in line. It seemed like ages, but it actually only took weeks before everyone had access. I am also impressed by the fire station testing she set up, and now the covid centers. Anyway, it was the progressives that insisted that vaccines should be allocated based on factors other that eagerness to be first in line. If we left it to progressives like R White claims to be, Ward 3 would have had to wait longer.
