You can call the office and ask where they are on the wait list thus far. But they will not be sending out updates or anything.

You'll likely have to leave a message to check WL status, but they seem pretty good about calling you back.

The WL is kept, I believe, until the end of Q2. So if you don't here from them by January, then you can try again the next cycle.

This is a grossly absurd statement. It’s a lottery. It’s random. I got 248 for one school. I got 16 for another. At the end of the summer I got of the waitlist at the school where my child was 16th. It bites when you don’t get what you want but that’s not a sign of a conspiracy.

RCF family here- I don’t think they will go that far down for 2nd grade WL. I’d be surprised if they broke into the teens, much less 30s tbh.

Thank you for posting! Our son is set to start the french immersion also K and i'm getting a little worried about the preschool to K transition PLUS the language transition
