Is there a joke here I'm missing? |
| My cousin had her first child at 14 (got pregnant at 13), so yes some kids this age are sexually active. Honestly, you should have had the talk by now but yes you need to do it. Also, don't use the term "doing it" during the conversation. |
You know some kids, and you “just know for sure” they are not doing “it.” - except you’re wrong, and some of them ARE doing it behind your back. That’s what you’re missing. |
THIS |
| Crazy. All of my friends, except 1, had never done it before college. |
That’s rare. |
|
As a MS teacher, some of the conversations I overhear are downright shocking.
I don't know about intercourse, but many are doing everything but penetration. Talk to your kids! |
That’s just weird. |
I find this hard to believe. I haven't talked about this with male friends that much, but every woman I have been friends with who had sex below the age of +/- 15 has regrets. Not necessarily "this ruined my life" regrets, but at least an acknowledgement that they were far too young for sex at that age. None of them are like, "oh yeah! Sex at 12 totally rocks! You should go for it! In this family, we fuxx!" with their own kids. |
| The way so many are saying "you should have had the talk by now" is making my rofl. My parents never gave me the talk, and frankly, they probably would have given me the wrong advice if they had. Kids aren't idiots these days. Especially in this area, as all the kids are gifted, as DCUM parents always claim. They're smart enough to google the resources on their own, and get what they need on their own. Stop worrying about it. |
I get the feeling that PP is part of an incest family, and is wondering why his son doesn't want join in. |
Nope. Not really. |
| In 8th grade the predominant thing is blow jobs/ hand jobs for the boys and fingering the girl. The was even addressed at our PTA meeting. One parent claimed that anal was being done. |
+2 Creep. |
Same. Big NOVA high school in the 90s. Tight group of 8 girls and only one had sex before college. |
