At least we use our turn signals and don't block the left lane while spaced out or on our phone.

Is that a joke? Virginia drivers *always* block the left lane. My DH and I have a joke whenever we drive up or down 95 that almost every single car we see parked in the left lane has VA plates. Such an embarrassment.

+1 from someone who drives from DC to Jersey almost every other weekend.

I can attest to this- and they are adamant about doing so.

It makes sense if you remember that for him it's not a home, it's an entertainment venue.

But, unlike Potomac, Northern Virginia has only so many properties of this caliber right on the river that suit his needs. If he was going to build the stadium out in Loudoun, there are more places for him to buy. But he's not. So for along the 95 corridor, this one made the most sense for him. His wife probably wanted to stay closer to the city.

So do you think the stadium will be in Prince William?

Yep. If he can't find the land or the right deal there, I'd bet on Spotsylvania. He knows he has a huge fan base along the 95 corridor south. Huge fan base with money. Not so much in Loudoun going west.

Also, having it on 95 means that it will be a tourist draw for the entire east coast going up and down 95. You know he's going to built the biggest, baddest stadium this time around. It eats at him every day having to look at these newer stadiums other teams have.

Tourist draw? For the Commanders? LOL.

I mean I am all for him being as far away as possible tho.....

True that. And their team and team owner suck.

So when he losses the team and his wife, she can have her net weeding there. Nice plan.

This was on the news this morning, and the aerial shots make it look like the house could fall off a cliff into the water.

You would be a fool to buy it.

Why did they build so close to the edge of the cliff???

It’s a horrible idea to build a stadium complex way outside the city. They always suck and the NFL is increasingly a tv sport having trouble with live attendance. The city venues like Baltimore has with other stuff to do in the vicinity can’t be replicated by pop up fakery. If it’s in Va it should be in Alexandria .. clear out an area.

No NFL team in a metro area this size has any trouble getting butts in the seats except for Snyder. That’s basically why he’s being forced to sell the team, because he’s costing the other owners money. There are a lot of other issues too but it came to a head when he couldn’t get any of three different jurisdictions to entertain a new stadium for him and he and all the other issues have made the team so bad that the old stadium is empty.

He doesn't have to worry about schools anymore.

HAHA! I knew it was a matter of time before people like you showed up. The folks obsessed with sh*tting on MoCo and dying to prove that NoVa is so much better.. It's hilarious. Why do you do that? It looks so desperate!

Alexandria doesn’t want it. He’s looking as far out as he is because nowhere closer wants it. Even with concerts, a stadium sits almost empty for the vast majority of days and when it is in use, it’s a traffic nightmare for residents
