Dan Snyder bought the most expensive house in regional history??

Am I the only one that thinks that black asphalt driveway looks really trashy for a gorgeous estate like this? Seems so odd.

My lord you're a imbecile. The $9m sale was in 2014... the home was built in 2018.

At least we use our turn signals and don't block the left lane while spaced out or on our phone.

Is that a joke? Virginia drivers *always* block the left lane. My DH and I have a joke whenever we drive up or down 95 that almost every single car we see parked in the left lane has VA plates. Such an embarrassment.

+1 from someone who drives from DC to Jersey almost every other weekend.

This. Because of my job, I know a lot of high net worth folks. In terms of the upper, upper bracket, the MoCo exodus is real and I haven’t seen anything like this in my career. The wealthy don’t want to be in Maryland / MoCo any longer and are opting for DC proper, and NoVa.

Virginia has no estate tax. Expect more moves now that these Boomers' kids are growth and they are staring at their mortality.

This is clearly an estate/succession play by Snyder. Plus he definitely wants a subsidized government stadium and Republicans in VA are willing to grab their ankles.

You misspelled Democrats.

He bought off one sell-out Democrat to push the legislation so they can say it’s “bipartisan.” I guarantee all VA GOP will vote for it, plus signed by the Governor.

In other words, Democrats proposed the legislation. Got it.

There’s a thread here in Polotical if you all keep wanting to argue about the stadium. https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1036512.page

With a home gym like that, why is Snyder such a fat schlub?

All houses in this price range sell for less, the area doesn't matter.

Except it has already been on the market for almost a full year

I think the Mt Vernon house is gorgeous but sadly it can’t make Dan Snyder a different person.

He’s not selling his house or the team.

They both have asking prices they will never get. He also reportedly has dirt on the nfl owners. He’ll rightfully say “if it’s worth so much to you to get rid of me then pay me.” Apparently they think he’s not bad enough to cost anything.
