All of these (mostly) are brand names. Aaaaand, if you say #2 and 3 aloud, it sounds like you are clearing your throat.

Reading all of these posts caused a Pavlovian response - I had to make a plate of cheese + crackers. We are "basic" today compared to some fancy posters here. Ho-hum here I go:

Block of cheddar
Shredded cheddar
Mozzarella
Provolone
Swiss
Parm

Who are these people with paneer in their fridges? To me that would be something specifically for a recipe and not just in the cheese drawer. Love that stuff.

I mean, we are Indian so that’s why, but paneer lasts a long time so get some! You can freeze it for ages.

OK, so how do I get it? I want to get some and eat some and freeze some! Do you make it or buy it?

Get it! They have it at Whole Foods and Wegmans! I usually buy it at the Indian store but it’s becoming much more common to find it all over now. I have made it but it takes a while so I just buy it.

Another paneer PP. Costco sells 2-packs of paneer - we store in the freezer as we eat a paneer dish almost every week. Saag paneer, kadai paneer, paneer with peas, etc.

I finally feel like I have found my people on DCUM. When can I come over? I'll bring the crackers, and the labneh.

and maybe some of this really good goat cheese I have.

and cheesecake.

But is it a cheese? It is really just and extra strained yogurt

New poster.

I usually eat my labneh with honey, like yogurt, but some people do eat cheese with honey. On the other hand, I don’t spread it on things, I just eat it with a spoon, so I guess that leans toward yogurt. But I have been known to eat it with hot noodles, so I guess we’re back to cheese again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

DP, but I've seen Gopi brand paneer at the Gaithersburg Costco on 355. I get some whenever they have it in stock.

Can you share which Costco you find paneer at?

Sorry, post nesting fail--I'm the PP above who posted about Gopi paneer. The Gaithersburg Costco usually stocks it.

This is op, I’m glad there are so many of us with such a ridiculous amount of cheese.
