However, she was described as a local Orange County Republican Party leader and her last public appearance was at an anti vaccine mandate rally hosted by Turning Point, so I suspect that her politics had become more extreme right wing than you were perhaps aware.

Nonetheless, I’m sorry for the loss of Ms. Ernby.

Maybe her politics became extreme right wing because it helps to get 40-something White GOP women elected. It could be a career gamble that she took. It is not necessarily that she believed it. Also, entire FOX News is vaccinated.

And you have to show proof of vaccine to enter!

I’m pro-vaccine but in this case, I don’t think a vaccine would have made a difference since she wasn’t sick, just positive. The element of the vaccine that prevents severe illness; I don’t think that carries over to whether you develop a blood clot of not/not related to inactivity from severe illness.

Yeah, it was reported that she was symptomatic. She may have been feeling better, but COVID is pretty notorious for that -- a person feels like they've recovered and then their condition nose dives.

Also, the suggestion that the blood clotting is purely related to inactivity and not to the virus is totally unsupported speculation.

That is possible, I just haven’t seen any data specifically about blood clot prevention from covid, in the absence of respiratory illness, gained from vaccine.

Right, but it contributes to developing a blood clot, as does being very sick. Many people that get severely ill develop coagulopathies. It is much more rare for someone not severely ill and up and moving around to develop a clot.

Okay, well you are wrong. Vaccinated people are not dying of COVID induced blood clots, which is what happened to Kelly Ernby.

You can easily avoid blood clots by taking aspiring for a month during/following an infection, if you are on no other blood thinners. It’s in the darn protocol.

Deaths and hospitalizations are VERY MUCH the pandemic of the unvaccinated. The shots are absolutely working to prevent covid deaths. It's too late for Kelly Ernby, but not too late for people like you to stop spreading misinformation.

It's not misinformation. This CDC report says that effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine went from 80 perfect down to 33 percent for infections. They then recommend booster shots to increase the effectiveness.

Still highly protective against severe disease, which is what really matters.

Polio is a 4 shot regimine. Did you stop polio shots for your kids after only 2 doses? No, of course not.

All you people who are "just asking questions" - stop it with your stupidity.

According to a statement from the OCGOP, Ernby died unexpectedly after what was described as a "brief illness."

So sad. RIP Kelly.

I don't know her but she had a choice to take the vaccine. Why should I feel sorry for her?? I don't understand this post.

Read the pp again.

DTAP is 5 doses. PCV and Hib are also 4 doses.

Brief illness but was never hospitalized and was at home. Could she have been saved if she was hospitalized? Why are they not checking for clots or giving blood thinners etc?

Could she have been hiding the fact that she had COVID?

Anti facets try to power through. I’m sure she published that she was “gardening” to prove it’s nothing more than a cold. Bye Felicia!

Someone has to take care of the hill she chose to die on.
