I’m pro-vaccine but in this case, I don’t think a vaccine would have made a difference since she wasn’t sick, just positive.  The element of the vaccine that prevents severe illness; I don’t think that carries over to whether you develop a blood clot of not/not related to inactivity from severe illness. [/quote]

Yeah, it was reported that she was symptomatic.  She may have been feeling better, but COVID is pretty notorious for that -- a person feels like they've recovered and then their condition nose dives.

Right, but it contributes to developing a blood clot, as does being very sick.  Many people that get severely ill develop coagulopathies.  It is much more rare for someone not severely ill and up and moving around to develop a clot. [/quote]
