My DH more than delivered in that depart on few occasions the past couple of days. One session was a top 5 performance.

Our house is now empty after being jam packed with family the past few days. I’ve already given my husband “the eye” a couple of times and he clearly got the message. In a couple of hours I’m going to take a long hot bath and then let the fun begin.

I wouldn’t have gone either, Reagan is horrible. JFC.

No it’s not. We live 12 minutes away from DCA so it’s much more convenient for us. Don’t know whether this person’s spouse is cheating but good to hear other families out there have crazies in their families as well.

You all just don’t know what is important in Christmas. Why you heathens bother to celebrate the birth of the Christ is beyond me.

The guy who does my landscaping?

It is our attachments to things and people that hinder our spiritual growth. Maybe if you focused more on the child in the manger and not the gifts beneath the tree you’d have a stronger and happier marriage.

Oh, shut up.

Just to annoy you. Glad it's working.

There you go. True Christmas spirit!

Question for horse lady—NP—I’m still not getting why this is a present from your husband. Is it his money? If you’re using your money to buy something that you’ve picked out for yourself, isn’t that a present from you to you? That’s totally okay—I buy myself presents every Christmas! But I don’t tell people they are from my husband. I’m just trying to understand what makes it a present from your husband instead of f just something you bought for yourself.

Because otherwise she’d have to reconcile with the fact that her husband got her nothing.

I get it. This is an easy way to reframe your life so it looks a little better. The year you purchase a house after searching for months, “the house!” is your Christmas present! Then it’s the car you drive because it’s new and you needed one this year anyways. On years without a big purchase maybe the vacation you were going to take anyways is your gift. Much like the horse, the vacation you researched yourself, booked for the family, planned and packed for is “your present!” Funny how everyone else also goes on the trip and still gets a gift under the tree…

The Chinese restaurant was so busy it wasn’t taking phone orders so he drove over and placed the order in person, then drove back and picked it up.

I was upset because my DH gave me COVID this Christmas and we had to stay home and cancel all our plans.
