I don’t think we will ever know all the details as someone else pointed out. But I think the basic fact that the blood splatter evidence so clearly points towards BB as being the one who stabbed her, is all that really matters when it boils down to it. That plus the fact that they clearly shot Joe and admitted to that, snd that it seems CB was killed after Joe based on timing of 911 calls. If she made the first call let’s say as soon as they walked in the house before the went to the room- like let’s say she called because maybe there was an intruder and BB told her to hang up and let him check it out first. Or she hung up on her own when she heard noises upstairs and decided to check it out on her own first. Then 15 min later the next call was made? And 5ish min later EMS arrived? And CB was still alive?
If BB went into the house and ran upstairs and saw this scene where Joe was stabbing her, why would he wait 15min to call 911? Why would he move Joes body? Juliana called 911 when they were both back at the house. I think that was established. So it’s not disputed that she called 911, waited 15min and called again. If BB didn’t do the crime, what was he doing in those 15min? His story is she was already stabbed when he ran into the room. So why the delay in calling? That plus the blood evidence is all anyone needs. The digital evidence is ambiguous and we will never know the true story there |
Yes, like I said, I believe he did kill her. I just don’t buy the whole story as it’s told by the CW. And we’ll never know the details. |

Please stop referring to Fetlife messages using CB or Anastasia. Juliana and BB created the account and wrote/replied to JR.
Facts: 1. At some point in message exchange, knife was discussed. Juliana (likely) or Brendan wrote something like never considered it or no. 2. JR said himself (his mom confirmed) that he’d never done it except as a prop, laying it on bed, or something to that effect. 3. Admitted into evidence: Juliana testified/read parts of the letters to/from BB and Tess. She read in court that Tess wrote “snitches get stitches.” 4. Admitted into evidence: Letter to Juliana. Brendan wrote that his mother Tess created a hostile environment in the home (every day) and how it affected him. No mention of his child being affected by this hostile environment. Along with Count 4 child endangerment, 3 and 4 above will certainly be all CPS or whatever agency needs to give custody to the Benson family (grandparents and aunt). I have no doubt the former au pair will be a part of the child’s life (not custodial). She loved both CB and V. They were both in her bridal party. They had weekly calls. Many posts on her Instagram. |
Can you PLEASE stop with the fantasy speculations about this child’s future custody arrangement, her former babysitters and how you are certain they will step in to help her, what wedding she was a flower girl in, etc. It’s borderline creepy. |

Okay I really didn’t want to read all that but I just did. My opinion:
-I think that they didn’t have a good sense yet of exactly how the plan would play out. Women are often killed during sexual assaults by strangulation. It seems like once the idea of a knife came in, the Annastasia account suddenly starts to warm up to it. There are some time gaps in the chat as the plan coalesces. - Why the defense didn’t want to bring this portion of the chat in? Probably because there’s equally derogatory info for the defense, for example I would point to the end where JR was clearly asking about safety precautions and Annastasia replies “no real health issues.” |
| Can someone post link to the actual snitches get stitches letter in evidence? What is the date it was put into evidence? |

"I have no doubt the former au pair will be a part of the child’s life (not custodial). She loved both CB and V. They were both in her bridal party. They had weekly calls. Many posts on her Instagram."
I have to agree with the previous poster that we need to STOP with this about the former au pair. Unless you know her personally, you shouldn't be so insistent about this. She hasn't been in the child's life for several years now. Yes it's a nice thought, but it's in no way realistic. |
No evidence. It was reported by the media that CW mentioned in a hearing. |
Or just about the childs upcoming custody stuff in general! If there even is any upcoming custody stuff! It’s possible she’ll stay where she if she’s relatively well adjusted, considering everything, and that will be that. Her paternal grandma hasn’t been charged with any crime. This isn’t a lifetime movie. Just leave it. |
That's what I thought but the other poster made it sound like it was in the trial. Would love to know the trial. |
Would love to know the context. |
It is not a letter and was not in evidence for Brendan’s trial. It was a recorded call which was made in between Brendan’s arrest and Juliana’s proffer by my estimation, and when she plead guilty at the end of Oct 2024, Clingan (who was prosecuting this case at the time, prior to his own issues) released that information. The conversation in its entirety has never been released. It’s possible that Brendan’s mother does believe Brendan’s story (at least at the time) and thought Juliana was just trying to get released and said that. I don’t think it’s conclusive, but it’s not great either. Source: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/juliana-magalhaes-guilty-plea-manslaughter-virginia-au-pair/

Who else I feel horrible for: not just Christine and Joe , their murders and the character assassination they endured.
Also those innocent sexual assault victims who heard from demonic BB that his wife enjoyed reading their stories. They have to live with that statement but I hope Christine’s employers have reached out to the victims to reassure them. Sounds like BB was the real sadist here and projected that onto Christine and Joe. |
And per her public Instagram she is now in the local area. I will not say more than that for her privacy, but again her Instagram is public and she put it out there. I hope she’s able to see her. |
