Basically that she loved her family so so much and they are disgusted by the lies told after her death. |
Yeah, I'm pretty surprised they didn't include the "shocking twist" about the supervisor coming forward at the end or the CPS (?) worker who testified she heard the daughter ask if she can call Juliana mommy now. Seemed tailor made for this type of show. There was not that much new information, but some that was new to me was: -One of the women from the sugar baby site came forward when she heard Brendan's wife was killed, and that's how they learned he'd had affairs. She felt they should know that information and she was also interviewed by ABC but her face was hidden. -They combed through Juliana's social media and she was posting pictures of a boyfriend with an emoji covering his face, but they figured out it was him from his clothes and watch, and realized Juliana and Brendan took a vacation with the kid BEFORE the murders. -I had not realized they arrested Brendan *before* Juliana flipped. She corroborated their existing catfish theory. -As she was dying, Christine was asking Brendan why now, right before her daughter's birthday.
They had interviews with Christine's friends (who all loved her and talked about how much she adored her daughter and was disgusted by adultery and SA), Joe's mom and family friend, and even a gaming friend of Brendan's. The Banfields' friends did not know of any issues in the marriage, it doesn't seem like Christine was complaining about Brendan and his cheating (maybe he was lying when he said she knew). |
I will never understand this thing about what she said before she died. In JM’s interview w prosecutors, she said CB told Brendan to leave her there bc she was going to die anyways. During the trial, she said she covered her ears not to hear anything. BB said CB told him she loved him and she was sorry. Prosecutor asked him how could she speak if she was stabbed on the neck. Now they’re saying she mentioned their daughter’s bday. None of it makes sense… |
Because all of the "this is what she said before she died!" is made up. The only person who knows is BB, and maybe JM, if she wasn't covering her ears as she testified that she was. I think that making up these things is disgusting, as if someone is trying to make it even more sad than it already is. She was murdered- it's F-ing sad. Embellishments for people's true crime entertainment are in poor taste. |
On the side of being skeptical this umm courtesan said that Ms Banfield came home one day and caught her there with Brendan.(Assuming this was before the child of Christine was even conceived and in a different state NY?) She didn't know he was married.... Now years later she(the companion) happened to be online browsing when she read about the murders and a former client sometime after 02-24-2023 certainly before 10-19-2023(JPM arrest date) 09-16-2024 (BB arrest date) Would news coverage of this case reached a level of national consciousness before the arrest of JPM or the indictment of BB in December 2024? |
| Juliana’s demeanor, almost glee when retelling her story for the plea bargain was deeply troubling. She has no soul. |
I was close enough to Brendan during that time in NY that I knew about this particular affair. He was actually very serious about this girl, it started out as a sugar baby thing but after a while she moved from a different state to be with him and he was discussing getting divorced. Don't know what happened after but they broke up. |
I thought that woman from the sugar baby site said she WAS aware he was married. |
| Yes, I believe Brendan told her that he would divorce his wife for her. |
|
That 20/20 episode was interesting but missing a few things that would have made it more compelling.
- The boss testifying last minute about no work meeting and B's clothes would not have been work appropriate - Tess funding Juliana and threatening her in jail - The undercover LE officer hearing the little girl call J mommy The sadest part was seeing the little girl

| I would love to know what the wife, sugar baby, and au pair saw in this dweeb? Was he just a smooth talker? It's not like IRS agents make anyone of money. |

And he’s not attractive at all. I don’t even think he graduated college. He dropped out and opened up a math learning/tutoring center. |
20/20 showed an old photo of him with the other woman and he looks vastly different. I guess he aged pretty poorly. |
