| So Ben Sasse couldn’t be bothered shaving today? Did he not know he would be questioning the SCOTUS nominee? |
Didn't bother yesterday either. Nebraska thing. |
COVID flavor-saver |
Maybe he’s got covid and is feeling poorly. |
| Wow, Josh Hawley going full Russian disinformation on the senate hearing. They are outing themselves. |
| Ooh, snap Sen. Hawley! |
| *confirmed |

I will just never trust she wasn't picked to overturn Roe, the ACA, etc. I want to believe her statements of independence and I want to like her (for what it even matters). Like, a super conservative woman with seven kids who has made choices I would never make and has beliefs I don't should be able to be a serious jurist.
But I just always come back to who nominated her, from a Federalist Society list, being rammed through during an election year by a spineless, cowardly GOP. Maybe she will prove me wrong. |
+100 And they continue to demand she give her opinion on various issues, knowing FULL WELL that as a sitting judge, she may not opine. They’re forcing her to keep demurring so that it looks like she’s stonewalling. The fact is, she is not legally allowed to give her opinion on issues or hypothetical cases that might come before her. Democrats are such clowns. |
| How is Hawley managing to sound so condescending/mansplaining when he is a supporter of ACB? He is in love with himself. |

According to Barrett, Griswold is NOT under the category of super-precedent, like Brown v. Board. |
