Mueller does not find Trump campaign knowingly conspired with Russia

Here’s a better story:
Donkey says “Grass is Blue”
Tiger says “Grass is Green””

They go to the Lion. Lion looks at grass. Lion says “Grass is green.”

Donkey then says “Grass is Blue” Why? Because Donkey was never interested in the objective truth, Donkey just wanted someone to reaffirm what Donkey wanted to be true, and Donkey was never willing to change his opinion.

And then they lived happily ever after.

I can understand if you are riled up by dems who thought that the investigation would prove something it didn't. I get that.

But, I do not understand how you can think it was a witch hunt. Trump was hella shady about Russia, comey, ect. I mean come on- what kind of place would be be if someone did NOT look into that.

You can't just ask for Russian help on the campaign trail, fire Comey after you ask for 'loyalty', then celebrate with Russian diplomats. Not to mentioned that ties between his folks and Russia.

I am with you on the over hyping- but do you really REALLY think that the investigation was unwarranted?

"You can't just ask for Russian help on the campaign trail" - That was a sarcastic comment at a campaign rally to remind his supporters that not only did Hillary delete thousands of emails, but that her server was unsecured and open to hacking by foreign governments. It was effective.

"fire Comey after you ask for 'loyalty' - He fired Comey because Comey deserved to be fired. He had asked Comey three times whether he was a target. Comey told him no all three times but refused to tell the American people that he wasn't a target. As we have seen, Comey was more a politician than he was an intelligence officer. He didn't belong in that role.

"celebrate with Russian diplomats" - He didn't "celebrate with Russian diplomats." He made it clear throughout the campaign that he believed working with Russia on some foreign policy efforts was beneficial to the US - particularly the defeat of ISIS. This whole investigation made it difficult for him to do anything of import when it came to working with them because of how the left would view those efforts.

It was a "witch hunt" because the catalyst for this whole stupid investigation was a ruse. The monitoring of Americans, the bogus dossier, the FISA warrants that were quite possibly illegally obtained - pretty much everything surrounding this investigation was bogus. You may not believe this, but as more comes out WRT the start of this investigation, the more the reasons for opening such an investigation look really questionable.

Ok- but my point is that reasonable minds can disagree. I definitely don’t think asking for interference in an election should be take as sarcasm. You do. I’ll assume you are reasonable. It prompts an inquiry

I am reasonable. And, I am not ready to make accusations against those who were instrumental in getting this investigation started. But, I feel strongly that there should be an investigation into the FISA warrants, the Steele Dossier, Fusion GPS, and the investigation of the Hillary Clinton matter. Too many - way too many questions without adequate answers.
I can see how a non-Trump supporter might think he was asking Russia for help. I wasn't a Trump supporter at first. But, the more I hear him, the more I can see that this was an off-the-cuff remark to remind people about the scandal surrounding HRC.

That is just not true. Who is "doing their utmost to hide it?"

MacConnell refused to bring the resolution to floor yesterday, for he second time! Have you heard any GOP leader shouting to release the full report? Its like my son coming from school and saying he has all As on his report card and refusing to show it to me. I am glad I have other ways to access the report card to verify his claim, unlike Muller's report where the party/person benefiting from misrepresenting facts are the one who hold the key to release the complete report!

McConnell blocks resolution calling for release of Mueller report for second time

McConnell again blocked voting on the resolution. This is the third time GOP has blocked voting to block Mueller's report release. What is hiding in the report that they do not want people to see?

You DO realize there are plans to release his report, right?
You folks are harping on this topic just like you harped on the idea that Trump was going to fire Mueller. That never happened.
And, the idea that this report will somehow be withheld is just as ridiculous.

There will be redactions. There will be some information held back - for good reason. But, the bulk of the report will be released.
Voting on this stupid resolution is just stupid. Since, they know the report will be released.

Why are GOP senator voting against it if its going to be released anyway? Or this is just another "tax returns" will be released situation...

NP. FISA warrants are serious and not issued without cause. As for opposition research, this is common place. So common that it was depicted in House of Cards. It is done with extensive research of publically available information with follow up interviews of those linked to the person in events that were publically available. This is what politicians do regardless of party affiliation. Which is why there was both Republicans and Democrats involved with the Steele dossier.

That happened later. A Hyena came and agreed withe the sulking donkey that "Grass is Blue" and convinced all the donkeys who also thought "Grass is blue" to topple lion and place the hyena in the throne. The Hyena then enjoyed eating one donkey at a time for years to come - donkeys never noticed since they thought the Hyena is one of them....

The REPUBLICANS spent more than 2 years and northward of $80 million in taxpayer dollars and God only knows how much outside money was spent by Republicans on multiple investigations of Hillary Clinton yet they came up with NOTHING, ZERO indictments, not even one prosecutable offense. Now that was a total nothing-burger, far more than the Mueller investigation, yet the Trump supporters still refuse to close the book on it, moronically shouting "lock her up" at Trump rallies.

As opposed to what Mueller did. For one, as for cost, Mueller got back more than was spent in seized Manafort assets, his investigation actually more than paid for itself. And what he uncovered, exposed and prosecuted, that being a long laundry list of serious felonies and 34 indictments that included Trump's campaign chair, his personal attorney, his closest advisors and others in his inner circle. That, and exposing a covert Russian operation filling an entire office complex geared toward sowing discord and divisiveness in the American populace and toward undermining American democracy and destabilizing the West.

If you are a true independent, weighing each side on its merits, the differences should be stark and glaring. Republicans' behavior has been far worse where it comes to political targeting and witch-hunt prosecutions. And, there has been far more actual criminal behavior on the Republican side. That is indisputable.

Absolutely. And if the Mueller Report is so "exonerating" of the President, then why not release it? I hope Nancy Pelosi et al. start calling Mr. Mueller to testify ASAP.

NP. FISA warrants are serious and not issued without cause. As for opposition research, this is common place. So common that it was depicted in House of Cards. Of course FISA warrants are serious - but if those FISA warrants were issued WITHOUT the knowledge that the information in the warrant was unverified, that is an issue.
And, Steele, himself said the information was unverified. Which means - he did not follow up and confirm the information. Comey also said it was unverified.
And, THERE WERE NO REPUBLICANS INVOLVED IN DEVELOPMENT OF THE DOSSIER.
That was all the Clinton campaign and the DNC.

The Washington Free Beacon did not bankroll the Steele dossier, a highly dubious work of opposition research alleging the Russians have compromising personal and financial information on Donald Trump.

Rather, the conservative newsroom hired the same research firm that later created it, Fusion GPS, in 2016 to investigate Trump and other Republican candidates during the GOP primaries.

After Trump had won the nomination, the Free Beacon dropped the project. It was at that point that Democratic operatives swooped in, bringing along with them former British spy Christopher Steele. It is from Steele’s work that we get all this Russia business.

Right but unverified criminal activity gets investigated all the time!! Why is anyone above that?! If I called a anonymous tip line reporting you, it would be investigated.

No. That is not how investigations get started. Do you know how many tips are called in to the FBI daily?
-Spouse of FBI employee who once worked the tip line

Yes tips are examined before expending manpower but if information came in about any politician regarding corruption and foreign influence, it should be investigated. (R or D)

Want to add: that I was referring to local police tip lines. Feds get thousands a day. Also remember that McCain gave it to the FBI. Someone in the same party.

You want an investigation into FISA, fine. Bring it all out into the open. If you want an investigation into the FISA warrants, then yes, bring out all the information on members of the Trump campaign that warranted FISA in the first place. Since they've been "exonerated" you should all be happy to lay it all out on the table. Every bit. Bring out the tax returns. All of them. You want an investigation into Steele, fine, bring out all his research into what his former Russian contacts (oops, some are now dead) told him about Trump's relationship with Moscow.

1) The FISA warrant was approved by evidence more than the dossier.
2) The FISA warrant can only be extended if there is fruit from the initial warrant.
3) The warrant was extended 3 times.
4) The judges (appointed by Roberts) were all GOP appointees.
5) The only people asking questions about this along the lines you are suggesting are people who watch Hannity and listen to Rush.

Most people understand what is happening here and are not deflecting back to HILLARY!!!!!
