| Ours had a weird paragraph ay the bottom blaming the dems for the shutdown. Just seems like an odd thing to include in a work email. |
| If you are essential, how do you handle sick days or doctors appts since all leave is cancelled? |
| y'al about to get fired. Hope you have a plan b. |
That is because they will be taking over the fed workers jobs. We are privatising your government. |
not wrong, they added a bunch of things that have nothing to do with funding the govt |
|
Republicans own Senate, House and Presidency
They own it all. Which means they own the shutdown. And unemployment growing, economy being trashed, prices rising significantly all while Mr Gold lover increases the National Debt all day everyday while he enriches himself. |
Sure, they're going to fire my entire, very pro business fee funded agency. |
You think the truth is an odd thing to include in a work email? Says a lot about how you usually do business. |
DP here. It was unprofessional and unnecessary. |
Go away, troll. I've worked for the government for decades and never seen such blatant political statements in a broadcast email in my life. Blatant Hatch act violation but laws don't matter any more. |
While I completely agree that it was inappropriate and irrelevant, I doubt it’s a Hatch Act violation. Sounds like everyone got the same paragraph so it was flowed down from the WH. |
I asked about this on another thread - I’ve been deemed essential but I have a procedure I can’t cancel. My manager says I’ll just be on furlough status that day (ie not using my leave l). |
I’ve been informed that my entire office will be working and paid and not subject to a RIF. I mean, this is tiring but I am beginning to not give a f**** any more. |
Ugh… that’s irrelevant to the Hatch Act. Laws don’t magically go away because the President broke them. How are people so ignorant? This is how we got here. 🤦♀️ |
The president and vice president are exempt from the Hatch Act. |
