They could in theory reverse that law in whatever budget bill they make. I think that is unlikely though because the optics are pretty bad.

My vote is on a 1-2 month CR anyways, I dont see a shutdown happening.

What “optics”? Non-Feds who are furloughed aren’t paid, so why are Feds paid for days they didn’t work? It’s going to be cut, because if bit RWNJ are having a field day.

They're not united in what they want. Oh, none of them care if I suffer, but it's only a priority for a subset of them. More of them are in it for personal gain.
