Same. I read a lot of work so if I’m on my smartphone apps it’s for looking something up, quick research (dodger nation!), highlights of something I want to know, or once in a rare while, doom scrolling to keep a pulse on things.

Apparently the theory is he disassembled it to put it in his backpack, but he said this takes too long to do. It was found assembled. Reddit, I think maybe used to have that reputation 12+ years ago. But now it’s mainstream and people use it for fantasy football and parenting advice. The age of the user base has grown up and some of the worst sub-Reddit’s have been permanently banned. (Which of course means that they’ve found homes elsewhere, but Reddit is fairly normal these days).

I love the plastic surgery subreddit. Lots of people post pictures, timelines, and answer questions about their procedures. There’s others I like as well but people are acting like it’s nothing but furries. I’m sure those subreddits exist but they don’t get shown to me.

Reddit is a leftist hellhole and a lot of the moderators are transgender and will permanently ban people or delete posts they don't agree with. Obviously there are normal forums on there but those aren't the ones this psychotic shooter was probably visiting.

Yes is is kind of a lefty thing, but it is just scratching the surface of the internet. There are forums ten times worse than Reddit.

There is the dark web which absolutely has all sorts of depraved and evil things like child pornography. The FBI will be analyzing everything to see what sites he was visiting and his conversations with others in these forums. They are also looking into members of his Discord group which may have had prior knowledge of the attack.
