I agree but the issue is that we have otherwise sane and logical people literally cheering his killing.

I’ve seen so many disgusting comments from people I work with and friends. It terrifies me to see this kind of hatred is inside them for another human.

If you want to be mourned in death, live a better life. It is as simple as that. Most people view this as a case of F’d Around and Found Out.

They think death is just like how it happens in the movies or video games. Why would blood splatter on the wall behind him if he was shot from the front? There was no brain matter, it wasn’t a headshot

No evidence? He confessed online. That’s not good enough evidence for you?

They CLAIM he confessed online. But have they provided any forensically sound EVIDENCE that he did this?

Tyler Robinson allegedly wrote in a small group chat, “Hey guys, I have bad news for you all. It was me at UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this,” two people familiar with the chat told The Washington Post.

This could have been anyone claiming to be him.

That’s not how it works. IP addresses. Stop trying to muddy the waters. Dude’s guilty. He’ll probably get off if he proves to be a big enough sycophant. Maybe Charlie’s wife will do him.

An account can be hacked. IP addresses are dynamic.

With any digital evidence, there's almost always the possibility that a message or post was sent/made by someone other than the defendant. The Discord posts are just one piece of the bigger evidentiary picture.

The question isn't whether there's a possibility that someone else sent the messages. The question the jury will have to answer is whether, in light of all of the evidence, including the Discord messages (giving them whatever weight they feel appropriate in light of the possibility you're highlighting), there is reasonable doubt that Robinson murdered Kirk.
