Unless you're a parent, any 5th grade concert could easily put you to sleep. |
AWhen is the APS PR campaign going to end??? |
Never! |
| Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!!!!! |
| I’m not finding any of the speakers compelling so far. |
Has McKrazy given up? |
| How are Arlington parents with a brain and a conscience arguing in 2019 that we are OVERESTIMATING future enrollment? Do we really need to give the county any more reason to trim the APS budget or stonewall us on siting and building? What is the matter with these people?? |
That’s what happens when people are only thinking about their own tiny slice of the system rather than the system as a whole. |
| I sure hope the SB backs the staff on this and shuts this ridiculousness down. The only people fit to make proposals for the entire district are staff. If you can show they are flawed, then Give the specifics. Otherwise, please stop. Any “proposal” from a self interested school is inherently suspect. That said m, I bet the SB ends up moving no school. And the boundary madness that follows will be epic. One for the ages. |
| The McKinley speakers are coming across as really arrogant. |
If they think a lot of people are angry now, just wait until they announce that they’re going with the crazy boundary scenario after all. |
seriously- the 'we know that we are smarter than your staff- whose job is to do this' is breathtakingly arrogant. |
APS Staff should put up McKinley's proposal as option 3...there would be No Mercy. |
| and the Key speakers of course entirely lack data. They criticize APS's data, and just argue with platitudes. e.g. 'most of our Spanish speakers don't have cars and walk or use public transit to get their kids to school.' that is a total lie- as is clear from the APS Go survey. |
So glad the ATS guy is so proud of all the open-minded collaborative work they've done into late nights and weekends....just like staff. |
