The second front door thing is very chilling though. I understand where she is coming from on that.

Can you explain the second front door significance. I sincerely don't understand.

She states that she was so cumulatively traumatized over the year since the assault, then she essentially wanted an extra escape route, presumably in the event she would be susceptible to another attacker. That's my interpretation.

If you can't get out one front door, you can't get out the other. And let's say the guy is outside the first front door. You go out a second front door? Most sane people run out the BACK

What do you not understand about PTSD?
This is consistent with the traumas and the condition of PTSD. Grow up and stop doing this.

I think she truly believes that this happened to her, but her mental stability seems questionable, so what she believes may not be dispositive.

What is she saying?

She basically said she believes CBF. That she’d have to be a hell of an actress.

Right. Do you know how hard it would be to tell a fake story, over and over, and have these questions asked, over and over, that are designed to trip you up? She'd have to be some evil genius.

Not to mention she nuked her own life. Why would she do that with a made up story??

Her parents nor other family members have been supporting her. That is very telling. I would say she's been nuking her own life for years. I don't think she's mentally well.

Her family are Republicans who belong to the same country club as the Kavanuagh parents. They are unwilling to rock the boat.

Because the GOP refuses to gather any evidence! Investigate FFS! Call in the FBI! Subpoena Mark Judge!

The absence of Mark Judge is pretty damning. But Judge did already submit a sworn statement denying the incident.

It is not a sworn affidavit. There is no risk of perjury to him. And no chance to cross examine.

He needs to gooooooooo

If she is lying, why not lie about other things rather than say she doesn't remember? Why half-a$$ it? Lie all the way.

Way to gaslight.

I agree.

Anonymous wrote:Is this Google talking point some new desperate messaging from Fox or something? Seems to be the only thing Rs are grabbing onto in this embarrassing travesty.

A bunch of rich old white Rs passing judgment on this person. Gross.

And now Grassley in his last statement seems like he is defending his stupid decisions leading up to this hearing and now seeing how bad the optics are for his committee and his party.

They’re also talking to the rest of us.
SHE’S presenting the evidence.

No, she's telling her side of a story. That's it. That's all.

Guess what, her story is considered evidence, even in a strictly legal sense/court setting. Get the cliff notes for the Federal Rules for Evidence and then check back in with us.

She did not want her parents to know what happened. She would have been in a world of trouble for drinking with boys in a house with no adults present. She wanted to pretend that it never happened. She detailed all of this

So she greets him? I'm sorry but I would not say "hello how are you to my attacker"

If Judge and Kavanaugh didn't do it, Judge would be down there at the Senate Hearing. If someone was throwing my name out there like that, I would be there to defend myself. Judge would be a corroborating witness for Kavanaugh, it would be easier to discredit her if he testified two against one. But no, Judge does not want to be placed under oath to lie.
