Yup. Ford's attempt to delay today's hearing - another delay?? - was rejected. The stall tactics aren't flying. |
There are many post where people said maybe it happened, but she had the wrong guy. Why is that not a posibility? |
Read again. |
You know this will just become another 200 page thread with the same 5 post repeated over and over in different ways right?
|
The hearing is today... |
I find it interesting that CNN printed the false story by the guy on Twitter who stated he beat up Judge and Kavanaugh after they raped a friend of his on a boat in Newport RI. They printed it two hours after he, himself, stated he made it up. Three people on the byline, too, if I recall. Way to go, CNN. Way to go. |
Things are moving so quickly now, it's hard to keep up. That's what our Senate is known for. Moving really quickly. |
And, this is exactly why the SJC released the transcripts of the interview. And, despite this, CNN continued with reporting. Our media has sunk so low. |
It’ll be page 150 by 10am. Full of “the FBI should investigate” “she needs to report it to MCP” What about Clinton, what about a Thomas, creepy porn lawyer, Trump, etc. |
Has Brett given us his calendar for that summer? Prove that he wasn't in Newport? I haven't seen those. |
Is this a serious comment? WTF do you think the committee staff has been doing, reading a 225 Kavanaugh thread on DCUM? |
You do understand that the guy that made the claim has recanted? You can’t always get what you want....... as the song goes. |
I understand that. PP who mentioned the SJC transcripts is just throwing out stuff. So was I. |
Here a horrifying tidbit that Kavanaugh wrote for the Minnesota Law Review:
http://www.minnesotalawreview.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Kavanaugh_MLR.pdf These are the proposals listed in his opinion piece: I. PROVIDE SITTING PRESIDENTS WITH A TEMPORARY DEFERRAL OF CIVIL SUITS AND OF CRIMINAL PROSECUTIONS AND INVESTIGATIONS II. ENSURE PROMPT SENATE VOTES ON EXECUTIVE AND JUDICIAL NOMINATIONS III. STREAMLINE EXECUTIVE BRANCH ORGANIZATION AND ENSURE THAT OFFICIALS IN INDEPENDENT AGENCIES ARE MORE ACCOUNTABLE IV. RECOGNIZE THAT BOTH THE LEGISLATIVE AND EXECUTIVE BRANCHES HAVE LEGITIMATE AND SOMETIMES OVERLAPPING ROLES IN WAR AND NATIONAL SECURITY V. CONSIDER THE POSSIBLE BENEFITS OF A SINGLE, SIX-YEAR PRESIDENTIAL TERM |
