I agree they were all unlikeable in this episode but I’m. It sure that’s a bad thing for a story. I’ve been disliking this show more and more, thought
I don’t think they’d want to rehash the birth story because we’ve already seen all of that. |
I mean yeah, most shows that revolve around a family are literally all about that family. They were all tired and stressed by the current situation and all their baggage. It’s a drama, there has to be some stand around and yelling, otherwise it wouldn’t be interesting ![]() |
I am watching it now and Rebecca just broke into the tirade about Jack's death. I feel bad for Beth - nobody tiptoes around her and her dad died too. Plus Rebecca lost a child, why does not she remember that, why did it not traumatize her at least to a similar degree as Jack's death? Ugh. |
I am going to sound cold as ice here, but my sister had an emergency C with multiples and we all stayed home until the babies were delivered. THEN people showed up; my parents were there when the babies came home so they could help out.
My sister and BIL didn't need people hanging out in the waiting room being one more thing to worry about. |
That doesn’t sound cold. It sounds normal. What’s weird is that an entire family would wait in the waiting room until what? Presumably the doctors would have tried to keep the baby in for as long as possible. |
Agree. It was weird they all traveled cross country for that. They were trying to stop her labor. She could have gone days or weeks before delivering. It doesn’t make sense that they would all hop a plane immediately. |
Bc in tv land everyone waits in the waiting room. |
The episode was so boring and made no sense like others have said. My sister was on bed rest for 7 weeks after her water broke and no one stayed in the hospital for 7 weeks straight. It made no sense that Becca wouldn’t be thinking about her own birth experience and baby that died. And the last scene with Kate was so corny I almost wanted to turn the channel. Praying to her dad and naming him jack, so obvious. The entire episode felt forced and not like the this is us we have come to love. |
Yeah it was totally insane. They've stopped the labor and they're monitoring her. "We're not leaving!!!!!!!!" "My sister needs the best Dr money can buy!!!!" Like what. Medically and practically, it just does not make sense. And Madison comes back to bring Ruth and Miguel doesn't even mention that the baby was born and is okay? Madison just got back on that elevator and left. The writers just did a bad job thinking about how things work in the real world this time. |
Why did Madison just reappear? I couldnt even remeember who she was at first. |
Can I just say that Miguel having Toby's parents' phone numbers is just the sweetest? Miguel gets better and better. |
She was in the previous episode |
My first thought was, How did Miguel get Toby's parents phone numbers? Not real. |
I will give it one more episode and then I think I’m done. Unfortunately, I am the Kate hater (who liked her best in this past episode) and I have a feeling I will hate her in this next episode (based on the previews).
I also agree that Kevin’s behavior towards Madison was so rude and nobody said a word... did Kevin even apologize afterwards? |
I can’t stand Miguel. He’s a doormat. |
