Media moves a mile a minute. Nobody remembers or cares about the Floyd crap.

A former teacher who apparently first became involved in politics in 2004 because his students were catching flack for supporting John Kerry. He served in Congress is a rural, Republican leaning district for 12 years that elected Republicans before and after he left. Seems like the perfect choice to appeal to rural voters, Midwesterners and Moderates.

+1

It’s a great ticket.

Hold up. Is he wearing chaps?! Wtf?

No, weighters.

It’s spelled waders and no, those appear to be chaps. Pheasants are out in fields, not ponds. Pheasant season runs from October to January and it was probably too warm to wear full coveralls.

Makes you wonder if the other guys were not interested in being part of a lost cause.

This is gonna be a nice photo for the animal rights/ vegans in the progressive wing

I am an east coast liberal vegetarian who has done animal rights work. I have no problem with hunting as long as people eat what they kill. It’s better than factory farming. This bird got to live in the wild until a relatively quick death. I also know people (including some from Minnesota) who grew up poor and depended on hunting to feed their families.

But somehow Walz is a dead ringer for 84 year old Patrick Leahy.

And somehow JD Vance is a dead ringer for 36 year old Josh Duggar. Coincidence?

Really? I don’t see resemblance at all.

They look very similar, especially beardless JD.

Talk about a loony thing to even think about…

Yes! He looks 84! Much older than trump.

Older than Trump? You are funny, I like you!

Pink Floyd,
Remember the Pink Floyd Riots?
They were terrible, so terrible.
And that was all Tom Waltz.

Terrible Tom,
They call him Terrible Tom.

He’s terrible,
One of the worst.

One of the absolute worst.

Exactly. Sure, he seems like a nice hunky-dory, folksy guy. But he’s also a bleeding heart liberal. No thanks.

An even better question is does he motivate the people who would otherwise not vote to take action,.

Unmotivated here. I had planned to go to the polls but abstain from casting a vote in the presidential race and only participate in downballot races.

Yes, I’m definitely more interested in voting for Harris-Walz than for Harris BUT I am waiting to hear more about what she actually wants to do with her term, and I want to see if she has a plan to use Walz in her administration in a real way and not just have him keep the second chair warm for four years.

But this speaks much better for her team-choosing than the hit pieces over the last four years have. If her cabinet, staff, and advisor choices will be this strong, I am marginally more encouraged.

That said, if it’s clear that she doesn’t have a clear vision or plan (haven’t seen one yet) and he’ll just be pulled out of Minnesota with no real way to serve the greater good in Washington, I’ll be back to unmotivated.

I see Walz out having fun with his granddaughter... nice of a grandpa to hit the parks with his kids.
