What’s going on with the two bills?

hAHAHAHA CNN is flipping its lid. Suckers.

Oh you mean NOW the liberals want to compromise? The funny thing is two days ago they were talking about putting IMMIGRANTS back in the same bill and weeks ago - attaching paid leave no matter the price. They are a long way off from compromise.

Welp there you go. Deader than dead. Campaign 2022 is upon us.

Hey maybe the election in 2022 will bring along some leadership that isn’t nursing home material. Or do we have to wait until 2024 for that?

2024. Pelosi already said she isn't stepping down on the House side. No idea what Schumer plans to do.

And, then there is Biden himself.......

Remember when the Democrats called the BBB bill the "Human infrastructure bill?" Funny how that disappeared........

I was concerned about the phased in subsidies for childcare as we wouldn’t have qualified until youngest was almost school age as we’re at about 150% of median state income.

But I’m still sad. This country sucks. Guess they’re going to have to ban birth control too. Who in their right minds would have kids now?

Turns out that Build Back Better will, in fact, cost ZERO dollars.

What has changed from a year ago? Two years ago?
And, if people are NOT going to have kids, why ban birth control?

Your post makes no sense at all.

So if having a kid qualify you for a handout, you see no point in having a kid at all. Nice logic.

You better hope robot AI is ready to care for you when you hit the nursing home.

I have three kids and we are doing fine. But raising kids is work and it was nice to see a year in which the US government acknowledged that. I guess it’s done now. I’m glad that we save and live lean.

I do not think the US will ne thriving anytime soon and certainly not with a Japan level birth rate. We do need young people to have kids.

If this is the best argument you can come up with you might as well just admit this bill was a bad idea. The US is in absolutely no danger of running out of people now or at any point in the foreseeable future.

If you can't afford to raise your own kids you shouldn't be having them. It isn't the job of the general public to pay for your kids.

The progressives got totally out-maneuvered. They deliberately set the CTC to expire at Christmas 2021 because they thought that would be incentive to make fellow Senators vote to extend it out of charity.

Instead it expired and half the Senate has already gone home. They are NOT coming back for a vote they can't win on Christmas Eve. Poor, stupid fools.

The House isn't even session until January 10th. God this is spectacular.
