What’s going on with the two bills?

You and your Squad thought you'd be cute and split off PHYSICAL infrastructure from the actual Infrastructure bill in order to pass your social welfare package. Turns out you just screwed your constituents twice. Ask Amazon to pay for it - oh that's right you scared them off too.

To AOC: you are the one who wants heat supplied by solar panels and windmills. Surprisingly, electricity does not come from the wall.

AOC is standing up for her constituents just like Manchin is. She’s doing her job. You know who isn’t? The President. He’s supposed to be the head of the Party. He was supposed to have been a legislative wizard and a leader who could bring compromise. I’m starting to see why he never made it far in previous primaries when he was in his prime. Zilch, nothing, nada. He really needs to be kept away from campaigning this year and I hope the party is lining up some credible people to challenge him for the nomination.

What's that - even the staunchest holdouts are finally coming around to reality? Whoopee. Manchin by the way is still safe in office until 2025.

Took them long enough. F**king twats.

Good - it’s been taking up way too much oxygen.

Another BBB component being sawed off and pushed forward in a new bill. Hooray.

Let’s watch the repubs squirm while we take an axe to their sacred cow.

DOD already got major funding like $740 billion - more than they even asked for. There's nothing to hold over them. Try again in 2022.

Oops what's this? Biden is RAISING the already high DOD funding to $800 billion in 2023. Thanks Ukraine!

I’m so glad Build Back Bullsh*t never passed. Had Psaki said to my face ‘American values’ is the reason only a sector of the population was getting cash installments I would have gagged.

Wow, what a lead line.

The lawmaker (Democratic Senator) said, “We’re all so tired of BBB.”

“Politically, it’s just a killer, it sucks all the life out of us. We’re all so completely frustrated by it,” the senator added.

They must also hate the "Building a Better America" plan that Biden pushed out last week since it is a remake of Build Back Better.

They may as well break the bill up in to individual bills to see what can really pass on its own. They are wasting time continuing to try to make fetch happen.

They can't pass any of them individually and they know it. I'm curious if they'll get climate or prescription drugs reduced cost in the CR as that seems to be the two Manchin are most in favor of but I see that as 30/70 chance.

Biden 2023 Budget completely kills off Build Back Better. It is official dead. May this proposal rest in peace.

He actually hid them in a loophole called the 'budget reserve fund'. Which will be nixed expeditiously.

President Joe Biden will broadly endorse the climate, social safety net and tax-code changes the White House has pursued as part of his “Build Back Better” agenda in his budget proposal Monday, but he won’t specify the costs or revenues in a bid to avoid disrupting congressional negotiations.

Instead, the fiscal 2023 budget document will include a placeholder known as a “deficit-neutral reserve fund,” signaling Biden’s commitment to sweeping policy changes without spelling out the costs and benefits.

How are you going to have a budget with a gaping blackhole that costs $2 trillion? Honestly. The Democratic leadership thinks the world is stupid.
