So the grown-ups have acknowledge all of these facts and have figured out the best solution for society:
1. Provide sex education.

3. Make abortion safe and legal.

If you owned your child, the state couldn't take your child from you for failure to care for them properly. The state can intervene specifically because you do not "own" your child. Your child is an independent human being with their own rights independent of their parents.
