| Crime will increase as unwanted children are born, according to the Freakonomics guys. There are many more societal ills than benefits when you force women to have a baby. |
Want to add: I won’t even mention poverty since the GOP are clearly pro-poverty too. |

Is there still anyplace to still see the excellent documentary "Unplanned"? I learned so much from it, I'd like to see it again. |

The men who impregnate, willingly or unwillingly, women should be castrated--publicly and we should start with Clyde Chambliss of Alabama. Also, every pro-life man and woman should have to contribute a minimum of 25% of their annual income to help rear unwanted children.
Within 24 hours all of these hypocrites would be pro choice. |
look, I'm sorry you don't like these reasons. I get it. BUT, then help us to reduce the need by providing free birth control (including LARCS), comprehensive sex education (not abstinence only propaganda), affordable and accessible health care, assistance to low income mothers and children and affordable and accessible child care. If you aren't willing to do these things, the need for abortion will remain. |
| Okay, no abortions. But then every man who impregnates a woman and isn’t 100% compliant with their child support obligations from day faces the same felony penalties. Because what you really care about is the children, right? |
What is the point of posting this? If a woman doesn’t want to have a child, she shouldn’t be forced to regardless of reason. Who are you to sit in judgement? |
What differrnce does the reason matter? No woman should be forced to have a child against her will and I do not care who the father is! |
Men who willingly impregnate women should be publicly castrated? Great idea. I suppose you wear a red cape and pretend you are a “handmaiden,” too. Obviously mental health isn’t your strength. |

It is generally known that the reported rape instances are only a small fraction of the true number of rapes that take place. I predict that rape complaints to police will go up significantly in Alabama. Till now, many women who were date raped or drugged and raped in parties might have silently terminated their pregnancies without reporting to college authorities and/or police. Now that Alabama is taking away that option, why should a date rape victim suffer silently life altering consequences for which she didn't consent. In time, we will know if pregnancies due to rape are only a sliver or significant number.
My old Alabama has become a social experimental grounds, what a turn of events! |

Perhaps we can reduce the percentage of entitled men, if we raise our boys to understand they are NOT entitled to what they want.
And our daughters need to understand that NOTHING is worth it to allow sex with some sweet talking boy who is here today and gone tomorrow. Girls need to get much smarter than that. |
| Interesting that less than 0.1% of all abortions are due to rape, yet the left brings this up as the reason to keep RvW. |
| According the the CDC, there were 560,715 live births of African Americans in 2017 while there were 141,825 abortions, or 26% of their population was eliminated. |
