Let's ask Brendans friends questions like why didn't he speak to the police right away?
Is he a nice guy at all?
Why did he only have his dog, and not have his wife on a Facebook profile?
Why was there a dropped call when your wife was bleeding out?
Why during a 911 call did you first say "I shot Joe Ryan, before mentioning your wife had been stabbed" ?
Did you have insurance on your wife?

This has always been questionable in my mind. SHE was still showing signs of life and died at the hospital. JR was dead when ambulance arrived. But he wanted to clear himself on the phone first?

"Defrauded the federal government" could mean lying on timesheets or expense reports. Or applying for PPP loans like so many rich people and politicians did. While bad, certainly not indicative of murder.

I wouldn't hold what he said in the 911 call against. It was a moment of extreme stress and panic. In fact, declaring "I shot Joe Ryan" makes him sound more innocent than like a murderer. The hanging up and calling again is fishy however.

Defrauded the government and still maintains a respected job with the agency? Sure…more laughable accusations. Brendan is a good man, father and friend. He was also a good husband. Let the authorities do their work.

+1
Thank you.

Wow, this is looking more and more each day like the husband murdered his wife and the other guy.

Because some random person on an anonymous website said he heard the husband was a bad guy?

And from what has been said by LE all parties were known to one another so it was likely not the first time he was at the house.

So what would be the difference or trigger that day for violence? Was it perhaps that they may have been meeting w/o him and w/o his knowledge? Who knows, maybe they thought they had his consent? I can see him having motive more than JR, esp if there is a closeness with AP or if he felt betrayed and like them meeting that morning was different than what HE had agreed to.

Some boundaries seem wise not to push. Really strong emotions could be triggered.

Very sad, esp for the child. Hopefully forensics will shed light on what happened. Could have been planned or spur of the moment regardless of who the killer is. Either way that timeine is tight.

I feel like a lot of this is dead on. However I honestly it was preplanned in that the au pair called as soon as JR showed up to warn the husband so he could drive home and do his crime and kill them both. Seems like a set up to me.

no, you need to read the entire forum I guess, and also watch the chief of police speak about the case and ever report after that. You seem to not see what most other people are seeing and reading. The husband appears more each day that he is guilty. Clearly the investigation is still open because the police think the investigation should be open. It is pretty clear to everyone.

Yes it sounds VERY damning to me also. Like he wanted to make sure she was close to death but they had to not wait too long or it would look even worse.

How would anyone know if Brendan spoke to police on this site if there has been no updates from law enforcement. Can these posts get anymore ridiculous.

some people clearly have inside information that you don't have. YES some have spoken to the police and the police will inform them of things you don't in anyway know. It does not serve you or anyone to keep posting and using the word "ridiculous" just because you are not privy to information others have or know. It won't work to try and discredit everyone that believes the husband is guilty of murder because you call it ridiculous. It is making you simply look continuously uninformed.

Seriously, one could make up any story about Brendan and post it multiple times here under the guise of corroboration and people will fall for it it hook, line and sinker.

Ok I have spoken to police and know the Banfield family very well so I clearly can state that it is ridiculous. Anyone that believes the majority of these posts need to wake up. BTW police do not give inside information on an active investigation.

And if they did, don't you think that reporters would wind of this and start quoting their anonymous sources? And yet nothing has been reported.
