Fairfax Murder

I am sure the au pair will tell what she knows. He is smart to wait for an attorney, even if he’s innocent.

Last night I could see the au pair's instagram (she had tagged the mom in a ton of posts), looks like its deleted now. She certainly witnessed something tragic which must be very difficult being young and alone in this country. The article said the 4 yo is with the police (NOTE- not the dad!!) with help of family members.

Always wait for the lawyer to talk.

I was shocked that the police didn’t send someone as soon as the first 911 call dropped. I thought that was standard response. I assumed she dropped the call because the guy was threatening her boss with the knife and told her to drop the phone.

7:45 am is a weird time for this sort of fight. I wonder if they were letting an old friend stay with them while he went through some stuff, and it turned out that the stuff he was going through was a total mental health breakdown.

One news station said that for some reason they couldn't locate where the call was coming from the first time. Makes you wonder what would have happened if they did show up minutes instead of 10-15 min later when they got the second call.

Another article said that everyone knew each other... which of course makes this all even more suspicious. e.g. if it was a handyman assaulting the wife the husband would be talking!

The wife was a nurse at INOVA.

I assumed the au pair dropped the call because she was scared of the husband! She started to talk on the second call but then gave the husband the phone.

One article, either WP or WTOP, said 911 couldn’t trace it bc it was her cell phone.

Sounds like a love triangle or the family allowed and old addict friend to stay on the couch.

I am getting similar vibes to the crazy guy that came in and shot the husband last year in Fairfax while the wife was asleep in bed next to him. (it was a religious family and the husband was head of a nonprofit org similar to go fund me). The shooter was an old bf/friend from HS that was obsessed with the wife.

Weird thing about the husband is that he has no internet presence related to a job, etc but he has a FB profile. Only pics of him and his dog. None of his family.

It’s always weird when it’s only the children on cards, as if one of the parents is planning to divorce.

Ha. Our cards were almost always only our kids. We gave been married about 30 years, no plans to divorce.

For this particular family, they are both on social media but don't have pictures of each other. They have a young child. Plus their card only has pics of the child. Its not the norm in similar young families.

Likely most of his real pics/posts are restricted to his friends.
