It’s always weird when it’s only the children on cards, as if one of the parents is planning to divorce.

Ha. Our cards were almost always only our kids. We gave been married about 30 years, no plans to divorce.

+1 same here

For this particular family, they are both on social media but don't have pictures of each other. They have a young child. Plus their card only has pics of the child. Its not the norm in similar young families.

I completely agree (same age as the people involved). Both of their FB page screams a couple on the rocks. No photos of each other... Usually couples this age would have either that or some professional family photos.

I am getting similar vibes to the crazy guy that came in and shot the husband last year in Fairfax while the wife was asleep in bed next to him. (it was a religious family and the husband was head of a nonprofit org similar to go fund me). The shooter was an old bf/friend from HS that was obsessed with the wife.

Weird thing about the husband is that he has no internet presence related to a job, etc but he has a FB profile. Only pics of him and his dog. None of his family.
Likely most of his real pics/posts are restricted to his friends.

His pics have only like 3-10 likes. I dont think there were many friends.

Wrong. The norm is to do what you like with your holiday cards. Married 22 years. 3 kids. Christmas card every year since the kids were born with pics of only the kids.

No idea what professions the parents have but, if they are involved in anything in national security, the less their picture floats around the better.

Yep, very common for people who are at least somewhat concerned about privacy.

She's a pediatric nurse with a public instagram account.

I know the family. There is nothing online about the husband’s professional career, because he has a high profile security job with the federal government.

Christine was the nicest and most generous person I have ever met, and I am deeply sad and shocked with this tragedy.

Is that why he had a gun in the house?

I am sorry for her friends and family’s loss. Terrible tragedy.

Love triangle theory then. A person with a clearance wouldn't have an old addict friend hanging out at the house. The friend would be too much of a risk.

Husband is an IRS special agent.

Something does seem off about this.

The fact that the au pair hung up calling 911 the first time is off.
The fact that this happened so early in the morning (mostly meaning the person who didn't live there being at their home) is off.
Originally I thought that fact that he didn't talk to police is off, but given his job he probably knows he needed to contact a lawyer first.
BUT the fact that the daughter was not left with him is definitely off.

DP. I'm on FB and 99% of my pictures are of my kids - not my husband or me. I hate pictures of myself. Most of my friends are the same way. You sound very young.
