if that's true, then yes, that is reprehensible. but has that been confirmed or is that just gossip from this thread? the comments about people's looks, husbands is pretty mean considering these are not celebrities. I had never heard of any of these people before this thread. |

You must have glossed over the first few/dozen pages of this thread. She held a dinner party during an epidemic at a time when such gatherings were expressly prohibited on the basis of size. Moreover, she held a backyard camp for a couple of weeks when this too was over the size limit. To say nothing of the lack of common sense in doing so. It is very clear what the motivations for doing these things are: eagerness for attention, and lack of abiding by rules that everyone else is supposed to follow. These are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the behavior. As other people pointed out, this person flew to Florida when the shelter in place order was on. Moreover, she courts publicity for these actions; there was a photographer at the dinner party, even. |

Yes, I had to stop watching the gala because those airheads drive me nuts. Interesting new choreography but I felt I was watching g a home-shopping channel. I had no idea who these women are but kept wondering why on earth the WB had picked them. This thread has enlightened me, but not in a good way.. |

She infected people while recording the Gala. She infected people during her backyard party after the Gala. There are rumors throughout the thread of aggravating circumstances. For example, it's said that she took the test *before* her super-spreading evening and intentionally delayed hearing the result so as not to get in the way of her evening. It's also said that her, and some of her guests, were seen out of their home not wearing masks too soon after the event. There is mention of one hospitalization, and of children of guests now testing positive. In spite of now two Washington Post articles (and a 50 pages discussion here), there are way too many unknowns about the public health impact of that super spreading event, and it seems clear that not enough was done to mitigate further spread from it. The boutique camp company has made no statement on its colorful cheery Instagram about infected families that participated in week 2 (the known double superspreading event took place on the Thursday of boutique camp "week two", and included super spreader's children), and is currently still running camps in rich people's backyards, with who-knows-how much overlap in families and counselors with week 2. |
