agreed. perhaps. but I feel justified in my anger when I see them walking around without masks. |
Ashley is happy to have the envy, admiration, press, perks and influence, but can't handle the criticism, judgement and humiliation that also comes with being a public figure. |
are you f’ing kidding me? she apparently KNEW there was a high probability she had covid. she deserves all the opprobrium heaped on her here, and more. |
oh ffs. go away ashley’s pr team. |
Only a garbage human being would throw a party while waiting for coronavirus test results. And not calling back her doctor until the next day...wow. Trash. |
Do you have that capability, PP? |
1. I really hope everyone infected is recovering.
2. The party was a horrible idea and someone — anyone, including the professionals involved — should have had the sense to tell her it was a bad idea. And, yes, she should be paying the caterer a lot to support the staff on quarantine. 3. This thread was exactly what we needed to get us through these 90+ degree days while we still slog it though the pandemic. Jeff, please show us mercy and do not shut it down. 4. The piling on is a bit much but some things make her seem a bit more normal, please keep telling me about the bistro blog. 5. Ashley should ditch Candace. 6. I think the camp is worse than the party. I’m still surprised by some who chose to attend. 7. Back to the party. Whatever the intent — and let’s be honest, aren’t the majority of pay to play charitable events in DC about people wanting to elevate their image — TWB/WSB is a great organization and their work at the ARC is the real deal making a positive impact in an underserved community. 8. Louise. Thank you to whoever brought her up and posted. I just spent a bit of time on her Instagram and found it highly entertaining. Gotta love her. She did make a few early missteps, most notably the PJ post with tags. But once it was pointed out to her not to confuse her acting life with DC, and that their is no First Lady of a cabinet official, etc., she just moved on and seems almost normal — great life, devoted to family, friends and her commitments. |
Director of Washington Ballet comes down with coronavirus.
"In her [Instagram] post, [Julie] Kent does not elaborate on how she might have contracted the virus. But at least three ballet employees became sick after the Washington Ballet’s online gala June 18, according to several people with knowledge of the gala’s fallout who spoke on the condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to speak publicly on behalf of the ballet." https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/theater_dance/washington-ballet-director-julie-kent-says-she-is-recovering-from-covid-19/2020/07/11/c007c96e-c391-11ea-9fdd-b7ac6b051dc8_story.html |
Sigh. If you'd like to watch her as she breathes in the viral particles after Ashley breathes them out, The Gala. I can't believe this video hasn't been shared yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-ebyzsvXM4 |
Ashley’s name is no longer listed on the Washington Ballet’s board. |
That video was difficult to watch for other reasons, but I didn’t see any part of it where Ashley and Julie share the same space. The article mentions a male dancer who took part in the gala (but had a non dancing role) and later tested positive. That is clearly the dancer doing the bartending just a couple of feet away from Ashley. |
She was no longer on the board at the time of the gala. |
A minute after posting it that I realized that the mass email that includes the Youtube link has a photo of Julie Kent with Ashley in front of that bar table, but it's not on video. My bad. |
So Ashley gave both the other two people at the “bar” the ‘Rona? And people at her party? Is she a super spreader? |
Can someone please summarize the 49 pages for those of us just joining?
How many people ended up being infected? How many hospitalized? |
