Yet another GOP shutdown?

Interesting that more Dems voted for it than GOP. Why bail them out, Dems? You just keep enabling their BS.

Did it include the cola increase for congressional members?

Biden will issue an EO on federal employee pay. Probably after this CR is passed and signed.

I would take that as a sign that the Ds likely won in terms what ended up versus out.

Elon didn't get his shutdown, Trump didn't get his debt ceiling extension, and the government isn't shutting down.

I'd say Christmas came early this year.

What a pointless spectacle for Republicans. But it's a good preview for what the next few years are going to look like under the Musk Administration.

Not for president Musk and his lackey Trump.

Musk seems to think Congress is going to cut $2.5 trillion from Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Veterans. Who's going to tell him?

What did the win? Looks to me like they had their fun, realized that their attacks on Musk and Trump weren’t landing and balked at shutting down the government. They did the same thing with the “laddered” CR earlier this year. They talked a good game and then eventually caved.

I’d love to hear one Congressional Democrat state what in the most recent bill they opposed so vehemently. Bueller? Bueller?

This aged well.

I believe this is classic “Art of the deal” brinkmanship where he asks for something ridiculous to distract from other concessions. I don’t know if there were other elements changed in their interests, but that was probably the intent.

They claim Trump does similar 3 dimensional cues regards tariffs as grenades thrown into negotiations.

Whose attacks on Musk and Trump?

there was a negotiated deal that Trump and Musk tried to tank and they lost. So at the end of the day, a lot of chaos for no reason.

The Republicans are in charge now - spending goes through the roof and the debt is increased. It’s hard work for the swampers.

Wait, more R than D voted against the bill and this is your takeaway?
