The lesson is gun rights for everybody. Powerful enough to scare the leaders and the state. |
I agree. Trump is no better fit to serve as POTUS until 2029 than Biden is. It's quite a mess we've gotten ourselves into with this 2024 election. |
Among last night's Trump delusions (one of MANY during the Miami speech): Claimed he no longer eats bacon, got too expensive, four times more expensive than it was when he was President. Really Donny? A "billionaire" like you can't afford bacon? Horsecrap. And four times more expensive? Bacon was $5.58 a pound when Trump left office. Four times more expensive would be $22.32 a pound. Trump is delusional, in addition to having no clue. I doubt he's even set foot in a supermarket in decades and insults our intelligence every damn night with his deranged idiocy yet you're completely blind to it, think there's nothing wrong with his delusions and think he's somehow on your side. Yet Biden said absolutely nothing false or delusional or weird during his strong NATO speech yesterday, didn't interrupt himself or struggle or make things up. Yeah, we see with our own eyes that Trump is ALWAYS doing those things and going off on incoherent delusional rants, whereas Biden isn't. |
Obama didn't confiscate guns in his 8 years and Biden didn't confiscate guns in the 4 years he's been in office. Democrats are in favor of letting people keep their guns, with COMMON SENSE gun controls. So you can put that argument away. |
I don't know. The more I think about it, I think there is a possibility of cooperation going on and Biden will remain. If Biden remains, Trump wins. This gets Trump's last term over with. They only have to deal with him for the first 2 years since by his mid term campaigning will already be starting for his replacement and no one is going to put as much effort into Trump anymore. Also reality says that one can never really go back and this is what will happen with Trump, things won't be the same and his base support will quietly start winding down bc no one likes to admit they were wrong out loud and publicly. Both parties want Trump gone. There are more normal Republicans than there are hard core conservative Republicans and they want things back to the status quo. People in power want to stay in power and if it means making a deal with the "enemy" they will. |
Thank you for the comedy gold ![]() Only thing is...we watched the debate. And Trump was measured, cogent, agile, funny. Whereas Biden was confused, fragile, incoherent, weak, senile. |
Agree with this too. At least some people saw this coming years ago and I'm still baffled why it hasn't been stopped. One of my favorite writers argued it's because of mid-level power brokers: the media companies, the lobbyists, the politicians who aren't at the tippy top, the political appointees. They have blinded regular people so well that those people voted en mass for these aging, incompetent, and in one case downright criminal men. But...doesn't that let all those regular people off the hook too easily? |
DC’s UniParty is corrupt as hell. That’s exactly why Trump is already winning, even in swing states. We’re done with the Democrats open border fentanyl crisis. Fact: No one wants their own family member to become one of the 400 Americans dying every day of fentanyl poisoning. |
You’re not even following the argument much less putting it away. PP alleged that Trump is a wannabe dictator. Later PP appropriately pointed out that dictators (like Hitler) first disarm the populace to maintain their own power and control. It’s not a hard argument to follow but, you didn’t. |
+1 I can't think of a similar example in history where one city decided to self-immolate itself like DC is doing. Well, enjoy it... |
Yes. |
George Clooney is now calling for Biden to drop out.
Problem is... too little, too late...... In his op-ed, he wrote: "It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe 'big F-ing deal' Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate" So, he is only speaking up now to save face, it seems. And, because Biden is losing. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/10/opinion/joe-biden-democratic-nominee.html |
The Democratic Party is what is going to lose this election. All of this stupid crap is going to cost them, it’s not Biden.
I went into this knowing he’s old and I would have preferred someone else, but he’s the candidate and I’m voting for him as I don’t want a convicted felon as president. And I couldn’t give two hoots what Clooney thinks |
