What if Biden does not bow out?

She might be jealous having someone else be the first female president, but I think she would be thrilled to deny Donald a second term.

Hillary is done running for office. I'm sure she's enough of a big girl that she would celebrate it.

Meanwhile Hilary is silent and not calling on Biden to resign because she knows that Kamala will be afflicted with the same misogyny that prevented Hilary from winning. She knows Kamala will lose

I could not agree more. The Ds want her to take the fall for their ridiculous missteps and self neutering. I actually believe we are much better off now than 4 years ago but the Rs set the trap and the Ds and media fell for it. Kamala is being set up to fail and if I were her, I would tell them to shove it, this is not her mess to clean up.

If I’m Biden, I call a press conference. Then I publicly challenge my Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment if they don’t think he’s capable.

Biden needs to adopt a bit of Trump here. People in his party need to be brought to heel and stop disrespecting the office the office of the POTUS. No more wussy leaks to the media. Put your name on the paper like a real man or woman. If not, shut your mouth and get to work.

These four Dems poll better than Biden at beating Trump.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/4-democrats-outpace-biden-5-155753401.html

The memo singled out four Democrats who bested Biden’s results by roughly 5 points overall across the battleground states: Sen. Mark Kelly (Ariz.), Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.

IMO, people, on the left and right, and in between, would be excited for a fresh face (and younger ) other than Trump or Biden.

I learned not to argue with him, so when I know he's 100% incorrect I just smile and nod.

And to the poster who says Trump is worse, mentally, a neurologist said that nobody with cognitive issues would behave like Trump did when he was shot at. Complete presence of mind. He said it's a better test than the dementia screens.

This is also a sign, whether related to Parkinson's or something else. Whatever the cause, it is highly concerning.

? Biden has always been confrontational and had verbal gaffees. This part is not new.

It took a crowbar to get him out of the race.

I suppose this thread should be locked. It happened.

Problem is... too little, too late......
In his op-ed, he wrote:

"It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe 'big F-ing deal' Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate"

So, he is only speaking up now to save face, it seems. And, because Biden is losing.

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/10/opinion/joe-biden-democratic-nominee.html

He would have stayed quiet forever if not the debate, even knowing it was all a farce.

I actually appreciate that Clooney wrote that op ed. He did the right thing knowing that DNC leadership can’t/wont act.

His wife wrote it.
