If Biden remains, Trump wins. This gets Trump's last term over with. They only have to deal with him for the first 2 years since by his mid term campaigning will already be starting for his replacement and no one is going to put as much effort into Trump anymore. Also reality says that one can never really go back and this is what will happen with Trump, things won't be the same and his base support will quietly start winding down bc no one likes to admit they were wrong out loud and publicly. Both parties want Trump gone. There are more normal Republicans than there are hard core conservative Republicans and they want things back to the status quo. People in power want to stay in power and if it means making a deal with the "enemy" they will. [/quote]
