Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime - Anyone watching?

I saw first episode and loved it - the period costumes (50s/60s), the music, the signature Amy Sherman-Palladino talk (which sounds completely normal coming out of an early 60s Upper West Side Jewish housewife's mouth), the wit, the wide cast of quirky characters. Looking forward to bingewatching this one for sure.

Loved it. But it feels like I saw the premiere ages ago. Hope the full series is out soon.

PP here. That’s great! It kept showing up in my google ads, so I wondered, but I swear I just checked a few days ago!

I watched the first episode, and really enjoyed it. Timely too.

This thread led me to start watching episodes this weekend and I loved it! So cute and well done. Also love the clothes and sets. I want to dress like I live in that time.

Loved it! I didn't like the ending too much and hope they don't end up back together.

Her apartment was fab! And so are the clothes.

I watch it for the clothes and period decor. It's very glib and tries to be witty, classic AS-P

I feel like they toned down the hyper patter a little bit. The patter actually fits with Midge's character, so it doesn't seem as out of place as it might have. Also Rachel Bronsahan delivers it in her own style, rather than just breakneck speed. And the mother and father characters both make it their own. (I love Tony Shalhoub's delivery actually!) Midge and Susie obviously have the AS-P dynamic, but it doesn't seem so marked.

What is AS-P? I googled and nothing relevant came up

Amy Sherman-Paladino, the creator of the series. She also did Gilmore Girls.

I saw the premiere when it first came out and tried to watch more this weekend, but my "smart" TV would not connect to Amazon for some reason.

Amy Sherman-Palladino. So should be A S-P. Sorry

I found the main character obnoxious. Underwhelming. Boring.
